I am Tall, Enjoying October, and a proud Browncoat.

My Self-Summary

I just recently moved to Madison so I am looking to expand my social circle past my immediate area. I live with tabletop game designers, so if you are afraid of the terms LARP, DnD 3.5, pewter minis, boffer, and game theory just keep on walkin'... And shame on your cowardice. So, needless to say I am steeped in game culture of all forms when I'm out here, though being a geek here and happy is better than living in NJ anymore. I used to work for McFarlane Toys and it was a good few years until I realized, "Wait a sec, this job sucks and the owner of the company is out of his mind! I can do better! And one day I'll be rich enough to be insane!!!! MuWahahahaaaaaaaaaa!!!"

Or something like that. SO the long and short of it is that I am no longer miserable living in a self destructive environment in NJ working for Todd McFarlane. I am indeed happy now doing freelance jobs when I want and enjoying the company of a small circle of friends in the meantime. Which brings me back to the point which spawned this large digression, I love the people I live with but I need to get out of the damn house for more than exercise.

What I’m doing with my life

Currently doing freelance interspersed by copious gaming, hell I live in the House of Flying Dice. But other than that I usually do whatever random thing that suits me, Its the perk of being my own boss.

I’m really good at

Making stuff. Seriously I can make damn near anything and I am currently accepting orders for custom projects *hint hint*. Also I go to a lot of trade shows with my brothers and peddle all sorts of fun/entertaining/useless products. Currently our best seller is a diceless numberless horror game called Dread which uses a Jenga tower as its main mechanic. Its tons of fun and lets face it, when was the last time you used that Jenga tower sitting on your shelf? Huh? Thats right when you first got it, and it wasn't really all that fun I bet.

The first things people usually notice about me

How tall I am. It used to be my hair, but I chopped it off as a sort of solidifying a change in my life, but I can't wait for it to grow back.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: All of Lovecraft's work, Douglas Addams, Any of Steven King's short stories with the exception of the dark tower series, Choke, Fight Club, The Trilogy of the Twins, Paradise Lost, Barfly, The Great Shark Hunt, The Rum Diaries, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

JOHN DIES @ THE END!!!!!! Its seriously like Douglas Addams and Steven King Had some kind of fucked up genius writer baby.

Movies: The Good The Bad and The Ugly as well as the rest of The Man with No Name trilogy, The Big Lebowski, The Boondock Saints, The Dark Knight, Any movie produced by The Shaw Brothers or Golden Harvest, Donnie Darko, Zombi II, Most any horror movie, Mazes and Monstersas well as Dungeons and Dragons 2 for the same reason, Resivior Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Grindhouse, Fightclub, Choke, and probably a hell of a lot of other ones I am forgetting.

Music: I'm a Metalhead, nuff said. But I will listen to just about anything that isn't country. And don't give me that bullshit argument that Johnny Cash is country because he's not! He rocks way to fucking hard.

Food: Breakfast... Mmmmmmmmmm

The six things I could never do without

My right hand, building material, Breakfast, tea, DnD, Randomness

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Things I screwed up in my past, people I meet, the thought processes of other people, what it would be like to have super powers and how it would make me an evil, evil, man.

On a typical Friday night I am

Driving across country depending what month it is or doing something game related. And drinking, but that is more of a constant.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I once knocked out an old man, but that fucker had it coming as I am a firm believe that being old DOES NOT excuse horrid behavior.

You should message me if

You are some kind of geek unless you only want to see me once or twice, because honestly I'm a huge geek. I talk about stuff most non geeks find unattractive or boring. I ramble on and on about scientific discoveries that could easily be converted to James Bond villain caliber weapons, the nature of Evolution and how silly people are who delude themselves into thinking the world is only 5,000 years old, my weird hobbies, and generally laughing about culturally insensitive things.

Also, if you have a crude/sarcastic sense of humor.
