I hid my profile for awhile because let's face it, this online dating is just so fun and how much fun can a girl actually handle?? I needed a break and now I am back, with new enthusiasm in this quest:)

There are lots of things I like, but they seem so silly in these goofy little paragraphs. The blurbs about walks on the beach, and fireside sips of champagne, and snowy nights all make me nauseated, (even though I like those things).

I am looking for a fun man- honest, no matter how difficult the truth is, quick wit, quite smart and knows how to be in a partnership if it we get that far:) By this time in our lives, most of us have experienced a lot in our lives. Please be ready to embrace the possibilities, there are myriad of miraculous moments yet to happen!

I am doing my best to live it with laughter and love and intrigue and learning every step of the way. I have two wonderful sons and the youngest is a senior in high school, (we are talking months away from liberation in a way:) Once a parent, always a parent! Oh, and I exaggerated my income, but one never knows, this could be a banner year!

Great local music and dancing, dancing, dancing- so much fun! Have been thinking about Veblen who coined conspicuous consumption and whether he was on to something.

I recently have been spending way too much time thinking about this online dating stuff. Aside from that, I spend a lot of time thinking about parenting, adolescent boys (who will be in their twenties soon!!) frustrating government leaders that are embarrassing, global warming and how our kids are going to inherit this mess.

UPDATE! Now I get to think about a true world leader like we have not seen in a very long time. He might not have all the answers, but he is listening and trying! What a delightful, inspiring and yes, hopeful, change.

Another update- Obama is not making the progress I had expected. It makes me wonder if it is possible to really turn things around politically.

BP is unbelievable. Where is the outrage? Could a whole country be suffering PTSD from the economic collapse?
