My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi! I'm Shaun. Don't really know what to summarize about myself that's not already in the other questions, but I'll try. I've lived in Baltimore all my life, I love writing, I'm not really religious, but more power to you if you are.

I love animals (I have three dogs), movies, books, camping, writing, and driving.

I'm a pretty friendly guy. Happy to talk about anything. I'm pretty straight forward, but I have a good sense of humor. I'm also very sweet, and kind of a hopeless romantic. I'm loyal, patient, and caring, and I'll do anything for my friends.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm taking some time off school to focus on my career. I'm the assistant manager of a very large paint store in Glen Burnie.

I'm planning to return to school next semester to take care of my gen ed classes, then I'm thinking business school.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Does sarcasm count as something I can be good at?

I'm a loyal friend, very reliable, and I'll never stop trying to make your laugh. I probably won't succeed a lot, but eh what can you do?
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a little shy at first, but I open up pretty quick if I feel like we have something in common. I'm not the kind of person who can just walk up to someone else and make friends immediately, but I'm pretty chill.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite book is probably Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury or The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Also, not gonna lie, liked The Hunger Games. I've reread To Kill a Mockingbird three or four times too. Also love anything in the Ender's Game series. I'm going through the ISOIAF books (aka the Game of Thrones novels).

Movies would have to be Star Wars, Die Hard, Smokey and the Bandit, Animal House, lots of 70's and 80's stuff. And Across the Universe. Also, most Disney movies. And some romantic comedies.

Favorite TV shows would be Doctor Who, Supernatural, Weeds, 30 Rock, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, How I Met Your Mother, House Hunters, Brooklyn 99, Scrubs, Friends, House, Seinfeld, Kitchen Nightmares... I like variety in my television.

With music, I'm all over the board too. Love The Fratellis, Childish Gambino, The Killers, Weezer, Led Zepplin, Queen, Kaiser Chiefs, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Cake, OK Go, Gorillaz, and that's just the stuff I can think of off the top of my head. I listen to music all day long. Favorite band of all time though has to be The Beatles

My favorite food is Chipotle, followed by sushi, specifically eel rolls and california rolls. Steamed Crabs are close behind.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. A computer on which to write. I can do without the internet, but I need a place to write, and I'm quicker typing than I am writing.
2. Music. I'd say I listen to music for about 2/3s of my day.
3. My car. Best purchase I've ever made. If it went out of commission, I think I'd go stir crazy.
4. Netflix. Ever since I got it, commercials started getting on my nerves.
5. Video games. I'm not as big a gamer as I was when I was a kid, but still its good to have something for those Wednesday nights when everyone has school or work the next morning and theres nothing to do.
6. My cell phone. Okay, I could live without it, but its the single most useful thing I own. It combines numbers 1, 2, 4, and 5 on my list all into one package.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My future. I want to be a foster parent one day, so I can help kids who really need it. My grandmother is a foster parent who has had over 100 foster kids. After seeing the impact she's had on them, I know that's something I want to do.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I usually hit the bar with a couple friends or hang out around the house and catch up on tv shows. I'm not a huge partier, I'd rather be snuggled up on the couch binging on Netflix.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I love just about everything Disney.
Top 5:
Mulan
Frozen
Alladin
Emperors New Groove
The Lion King
