I am a recent widower. To be completely straight forward, I am
trying to re-learn how to date. I know that sounds corny, but I
didn't think it was something I would have to do again. I had a
wonderful wife and a fantastic relationship, but friends tell me I
have to move on, so here I am. As meloncholy as that may have
sounded, I am actually one of the most positive people I know. I
love life and everyone I meet. I am ready for the next stage in my
life. I just spent the last year of my life living in a vegan,
spiritual community, even though I am far from vegan. It was a
wonderful and eye-opening experience and it taught me a lot about
life,love, happiness, and self fulfillment.
On the flip side, as serious as that opening paragraph was, I am
actually a bit of a clown. I love practical jokes and stupid
movies, and there was a 2-year stretch when I never turned down a
dare. LOTS of great stories from that stretch of time. For
instance, have you ever given a striptease to a stranger to the
'dueling banjos song' from the movie Deliverance while being
spotlighted in front of 3,000 hockey fans. No? I have, and it
ultimately almost got me arrested, but it was sooo worth the story.
That is one of many such tales, so I guess it kind of makes me a
contradiction: Zen meets Chaos, but I have loved every second of
My top priority and passion is caring for my three-year-old son. I
am interested in meeting people that have a sense of humor and are
fun to be around. I don't want someone who takes themselves too
seriously, but I am very attracted to intensity, passion, and
dedication. Just be able to laugh at yourself afterwards. Life is
too short to always be serious.
I am slightly quirky but extremely sociable and occasionally tousle
Hollywood-star's hair when I drink...(you'll have to meet me to ask
about that one).
All-in-all, I just want to have some fun, but I don't want to do it
alone. So please feel free to message me, wink at me, or rate me. I
am still not sure of the proper procedure for contacting someone on
this site. Too many damn options. Haha. Well, I hope to talk to you
What I’m doing with my life
I am the general manager of an independent restaurant in

what I love doing at a higher level.
I’m really good at
Being a father. It's the best thing I have ever done or will ever
do. That little man is my life.
The first things people usually notice about me
My insanely red beard. I look like the young Kris Kringle from
"Santa Claus is Comin' to Town" claymation movie circa 1970. Every
Christmas someone posts that picture somewhere around my restaurant
or texts it to my phone. I have just accepted it.

The six things I could never do without
1. Teo, my son 2. Wine 3. Food (and wine) 4. Family and friends
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The last two things "I could never live without"... Oh wait, #5.SEC
Football and #6. The 'Do It Tomorrow' app on my phone. Phew, that's
a load off my mind. And now that I have thought it through, there
is a #7. Books on CD. Can't live without them. I spend way to much
time on the road to not have them.
On a typical Friday night I am
I don't like generalizations.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
