I love film, travel, books and home. I'd rather spend an evening with friends and a few bottles of wine than go clubbing. (Although a good 80s or 90s night keeps me on the dancefloor.) I love playing cards and Risk and backgammon and have recently rediscovered the joy of Ludo, but don't like chess or Monopoly. I love to laugh and to make people laugh. I love my job, even though I hate the politics of working for a multi-national. I love going to New York and Hell's Kitchen is one of my favourite places in the world, mainly because my brother, sister-in-law and niece live there. I would love to swim with the jelly fish in Micronesia. I've seen a lot of the world but want to see more. I have never stayed in a holiday resort and don't intend to start now. I love animals and yet I eat them without remorse. I love the evolution of language and yet I hate text speak. I'm generous and kind and caring and funny and intelligent and warm and loving.

TV: the wire, the apprentice, heroes

Music: hip hop, swing, bowie, velvet underground, faithless, blues, punk

Food: japanese, chinese, italian, good english food
