My self-summary
My name is Cody. I'm originally from Connecticut, but I've lived in Florida, Illinois, and now Wisconsin. My favorite color is green and my favorite sports are soccer and tennis! I graduated from the University of Central Florida in May 2013 with a bachelor's in political science.

I gained some weight in college, but I've lost more than 50 pounds so far!

I like to think I'm a pretty funny guy. My humor is very dry and sarcastic. Sometimes people think I'm being serious when I'm actually joking. Oops.

I'm a Myers-Briggs INTJ, if that means anything to you!
What I’m doing with my life
I work at a medical supply company. It really is as exciting as it sounds.

Looking to get into government somehow. It might be cool to use my degree.
I’m really good at
Solving problems; making light of bad situations; laughing; caring.
The first things people usually notice about me
I can be kind of awkward when I first meet someone. I usually like to keep things light by peppering my conversations with jokes, so when I meet someone for the first time I need to figure out how receptive they are to humor before I can really feel comfortable with them. I hope that that's not the first thing people notice about me, but it's the first thing I notice about myself when I meet someone new.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Five People You Meet in Heaven - although I don't believe in heaven, this book taught me to be more observant, caring, and appreciative.
To Kill a Mockingbird
The Da Vinci Code - I like cheesy, page-turning thrillers.

Movies: Comedies; thrillers; horror; romcoms; drama. I'm not really a fan of action movies. One thing about movies these days: enough with the sequels. What happened to the creativity?

TV Shows: Downton Abbey, Happy Endings, The Mindy Project, Dexter, Pretty Little Liars (please don't judge me), The Amazing Race, Psych, American Dad, Family Guy, Parks and Rec, The Office, Jeopardy!, cheesy ghost shows on SyFy.

Music: Top 40; country; mostly everything. Some of my favorite artists: Adele, Lorde, Lana del Rey, Phoenix, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Ke$ha, Taylor Swift.

Food: I'm not picky. I'll eat most things as long as it doesn't have mushrooms (I don't like them) or wheat (I don't eat it).
The six things I could never do without
1. Reddit
2. YouTube
3. My car
4. My family
5. Autumn
6. Mexican food
I spend a lot of time thinking about
existence; the meaning of it all; what I should do with my life; wondering if anyone has ever finished a tube of ChapStick before losing it.
On a typical Friday night I am
usually at home watching TV or Youtube or browsing Reddit.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I tend to worry a lot. It's a problem and I know it's a problem. I feel like if I'm not worrying about something, then something's going to go wrong. I'm working on it.
