I am considerate, calm, and introverted.
My Self-Summary
I'm a bit of an introvert, but I still enjoy going out. I have more
fun when talking in depth about ideas, but some physical activity
is great too. Even better when both are involved. Walking and
talking and looking at sculptures is fun.
I enjoy cooking and baking thought it has to be gluten free. I'm
rather obsessive about
coffee and I like to roast it, yet I'll
still only drink one or two cups a day.
I like
yoga and I'm
fairly flexible, although a little less so at the moment. I lifted
a 65 pound coffee machine wrong down (and later up) two flights of
stairs which wasn't so good for the spine.
I like
gardening, and most especially
[herbs], like stevia, lemon verbena, and hibiscus. Now that I'm in
an apartment that doesn't have a lot of good sun exposure, I'm
trying out a store bought hydroponic system. I'm hoping it'll keep
me supplied with two types of basil, majoram and thyme for the
winter.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I'm working and reviewing my life and considering where I
want to go, do and be. I'm looking into some different classes for
both the education and some for fun. I'm also keeping pretty busy
by exercising, learning to play some music and learning to write.
Learning to draw and paint is on the backburner at the
moment.
Now that winter is coming, I'm making lots of soups and stews. I'm
going to work on my gluten free baking too.
I’m really good at
Being interested in details, making coffee. Yeah, I love coffee, I
generally make it either using a french press, or an espresso
machine.
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't know, my glasses because they're on my face?
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I love reading fiction, mostly
science-fiction and
fantasy. I will also read
cookbooks, especially those that contain stories and adventures and
the history behind it all. I like some comics, though mostly
manga. I like the
standard american ones, but there are just too many branches.
I like a lot of movies but am preferrable to animated movies,
especially the Pixar ones. Not so much in the movie section, but I
like Japanese animation aka
anime as well.
I like jazz music, new age, classical and some light rock. Some of
my favorite artists are Chris Botti and Keiko Matsui
I'll eat almost anything, I love trying new foods, the only
difficulty now is an allergy to gluten (Wahhh chocolate cake), but
the world is better with these sorts of things so it's not that
bad. (Yay, gluten free beer, cake and bread!)
The six things I could never do without
Coffee & espresso
Paper and a pencil
Wine for cooking
Hot chocolate, especially now that it's winter.
Tea & herbal tisanes
Dreams, where would we be if we didn't have them?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Coffee, cooking ingredients, writing ideas.
Taxes, but not by choice.
On a typical Friday night I am
It can really depend on what I feel like doing. Some nights I'm out
at a nightclub peoplewatching, other nights I'm walking through
town, and some nights I'm curled up on the couch watching a movie
or reading a book.
Sometimes, though usually on Thursdays, Saturdays or Sundays, I'm
playing an interesting
board game with friends. They're more
of the euro style (Catan, Pandemic)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'm a little bit of a geek, ok maybe a lot.
I like taking some of these tests. They're pretty amusing.
You should message me if
You feel like hanging out somewhere for a drink, a walk through an
art museum or just to watch a movie. You can just send me a message
if you're looking to have some fun for an evening as well.
If you've got any good recipies, want to talk about food and drinks
including coffee, definately message me, I'd love to hear about it.
