My self-summary
I'm back in London after a few months in the wonderful and beautiful city of Vancouver, BC!

I grew up in the countryside and left it because there was nothing going on, skipped Uni and started focusing on what it was I actually wanted to do early on. I like to travel on my own and make my own decisions but I will seek advise when I need it and let's be honest, being too internalised is a dangerous thing! Generally it is my wont to hang out with people above my age bracket, largely due to my outlook and the way I've run my life so far but am open to all switched on folk.

I like a good meaningful chat but have a pretty dry / oddball sense of humour which either works or lead balloons hard depending on the recipient. I'm into watching motorsports but it's really not one of those things I force on people, more of a personal interest.

Probably the most interesting thing I've done was spend around 10 months working in Mumbai, India. That place is off tha' hook!
What I’m doing with my life
I work in post production for film and have done since I moved to London in 2009. So far all things career related have gone pretty well, but I'm actively making time for other activities such as climbing, running, cycling and of course social events. I really want to travel a bit more since it's one of the more exciting and enlightening aspects of life so that's going to be my focus for the near future.
I’m really good at
I want to say spaceflight but that would be entirely false. I've only actually been into space once... And by once I mean never.

Seriously I'm more a jack-of-all but if I were to say I was really good at one thing it would probably be making tea. I'm also getting to the stage where I would love to say I'm good at bouldering but I'm probably just ok. Screw it, I have fun doing it anyhow.
The first things people usually notice about me
This used to be about the fact that I look young but in both India and Vancouver it's been that I "look like" Harry Potter. I'm not sure the glasses and dark hair helped (I'm actually back to blonde now! Need to sort out a new picture eh.) but I don't mind either way...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
MOVIES: Annie Hall, Before Sunrise, Midnight in Paris, Jurassic Park and most Studio Ghibli animations amongst many others.

MUSIC: This changes pretty frequently but of late I've been listening to Bon Iver, Jaga Jazzist and Alt-J. Historically though I was brought up on Frank Zappa!

BOOKS: The Metamorphosis, Ninteen-Eighty-Four, The Book Of Tea, The Fountainhead (With a pinch of salt!), The Jungle Book, Isaac Asimov shorts, The Big Sleep, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, The Day of the Triffids, Snow Crash.

FOOD: Curry, Pizza, Bacon, Pasta, Ramen, Bacon, Breaded Chicken, Stews, Fry Ups and anything with bacon. Really I'm willing to try most things.
The six things I could never do without
1) Travel (I don't like being in the same place for too long!)
2) Life goals... Deep shit right?
3) Drink / friends / social activity I'm going to bundle together yo
4) Tea
5) Motorsports (apart from off-season, then I just mope)
6) Bacon
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Traversing the globe and climbing things (particularly the things I shouldn't climb.) I think the next travel destinations will be the Trans-Siberian Railway through Russia and Mongolia to Beijing then from there to North Korea. Perhaps Pakistan and Afghanistan off the back of an India trip later in the year and just general pimping about Europe. Oh, and I gotta to to Israel at some point.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with workmates, probably disastrously trashed somewhere... Unless I'm not up for it which happens occasionally, then I'll chill out at home or perhaps go to the cinema.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Uhh, I dunno... It annoys me when an ellipses has more than three points but not so much that I'm willing to break a friendship over it. Yeah, you're getting to my very core on that one!
