My self-summary
English human boy planning to move to Vancouver around March / April 2016 so just messages until then I'm afraid! Still keen to make new friends or arrange to meet in a few months.

I enjoy being out and about, hiking, biking, rock climbing, camping etc. As well as having time to sit, read, drink tea or watch something that makes me laugh or feel whenever I'm not traveling.
What I’m doing with my life
Traveling full time. I quit my job in post production / VFX for film at the end of 2013 and have been on the road all around the world since. I just finished doing a little solo cycle tour from Auckland to Wellington and will be in New Zealand for a little while longer.
I’m really good at
Leaving places for other places. Drifting off and thinking about what I'd like to do next. Riding and then falling off of bikes.
The first things people usually notice about me
One of my peg-legs is shorter than the other... Peg leg. They're both peg legs.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
MOVIES: Annie Hall, Before Sunrise, Midnight in Paris, Jurassic Park and most Studio Ghibli animations amongst many others.

TV: 30 Rock, Community, Black Mirror, Sherlock, Twin Peaks, Spaced, Arrested Development, Firefly, The Wire, Parks and Rec, Dollhouse, RrrriiII-iiiick and MoOOOOOrrrty Morty.

MUSIC: Bon Iver, Alt-J, Ben Howard, Frank Zappa and much ,much more.

BOOKS: Kafka, Orwell, Conan-Doyle, Asimov, Gaiman, Heinlein, Harlan Ellison, Neal Stephenson, John Wyndham etc etc. Reading a lot of comics at the moment. A lot.
The six things I could never do without
1) Food and water
2) Passport
3) Something to aim for / a catalyst.
4) Friends
5) Music
6) Activities!

When I started backpacking I had to think hard about what I do and don't need. There's a lot I can go without.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Moving to Canada and my hypothetical conversion van.
Where to go next and how.
Rock climbing and mountain biking. Sometimes I think about these two in bed and then struggle to sleep because just the thoughts make my heart rate go up. Stupid but true.
On a typical Friday night I am
Nah.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Did some standup once. It went okay.
You should message me if
... you feel like it. Don't overthink it, I'm always up for a chat.
