My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A puppy I am babysitting is staring at me as I write this. No matter how much I explain to her dating is a more complex then just sniffing each others butts she doesn't get it.

Hello mystery woman from the internet. Don't be shy, let me show you around the place. I'm the eldest brother of four, and have been filling in that roll more than ever recently, for better or worse. Exploring random trails along rivers and through woods is my favorite outdoor activity, have you ever been to the only canyon in Cook county? I have a thermos that keeps drinks waaay to hot even hours after filling for those chilly explorations. Thermos... thermos. that's a strange looking word. I don't believe I've ever typed out it before.
I've picked up reading fiction again for the first time since high school, been flying through some Robert Jordan. Read a bit of "Mere Christianity" when I couldn't sleep and have never before seen such a house of cards.
My favorite trip so far was going to the Reason Rally in D.C. and getting to see a slew of people I only ever see online, like Adam Savage, Richard Dawkins, Tim Minchin (google him), and Lawrence Krauss. Plus more museums then I could possibly visit.
Gotten interested in boardgames a lot more lately, and it's fun getting friends and co-workers to try out new ones. Archipelago's my current go to.
I eat the crust first on my pizza and the center bite of my burger last. The best part is always worth waiting for.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have lasagna night at my Grandparents to attend. Don't be jelly.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've got near my dream job, good friends, a place I call my own, and family just the right distance away. Been sticking with some crazy workout stuff too.
Geeking out on some things, and nerding out on others. Avoiding paperwork. Scouring the corners of the internet for videos of people walking into windows. I'm a sucker for engaging conversations that run until 3 in the morning even if I have work to do. I'm very active in the motion graphics community in Chicago. Always working on my next digital creation. Travel, mostly to the west coast for some reason. I'm trying to plan out a trip to Portland to Vancouver right now.
Going to midnight openings for movies no matter when I have to be awake in the morning.
Owning a lego collection that will make any child you know extremely jealous.
I don't really go to many concerts, but I love making it out to see various comedians and speakers.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Coming up with cool ideas for projects. Paper scissors rock, actually listening, and tolerating those who don't. I have a pizza cutting technique that keeps it nice and hot all the through the meal. Fitting everything I need in a single carry-on bag during flights, avoiding spoilers. Knowing every funny thing on the internet from spending way too much time on Reddit. Being able to quote things with high fidelity.
Creating meals from strange leftovers that are delicious. The other day I had a bag of grapes that were getting soft so I washed them and blended them to make grape juice. Now what to do with all that leftover pulp? Well I'll tell you what. You spread that on a sheet of tin foil, bake it in the toast for an hour or two and BAM, Homemade all natural fruit rollup.

If I meet you then I'll ask so I have something to put here. Remind me.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Excluding the obvious friends, family, Pad Thai with Chinese Broccoli...

Cool underside of a pillow, a project in the wings, made up soups, Reddit, teasing out anticipation, and the remote start on my car.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Friends/family, work, and my fun projects mostly. I spend a lot of time coming up with theories about the way the world works and how people are they way they are. Politics, religion, and tacos. I analyze a lot.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Fighting crime in spandex tights.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have on occasion spelled a word so poorly that even google can't make heads nor tails of it.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
That is something in your life that you geek out about. If there is something in my profile you'd like to know more about. If you're looking for someone to go on adventures with or do a Netflix marathon of a show you've been wanting to watch forever but never found the time for it. Want to explore the city, go see a live version of An Evening with Kevin Smith or Richard Dawkins give a talk, and anything in between.
