I am not a very complicated person. I like to think of myself as a normal guy, though I've been told by many that I'm too mature for my age. I am an intellectual, and proud of it. I also have a great sense of humor. While I take life seriously, I also know that it never hurts to just laugh sometimes, especially at myself. I value my friends and family just as much as myself, I always feel happy when spending time with the people who matter to me. I am very shy, though, and it sometimes takes me a while to get comfortable with people, although I am getting better at it as time goes by.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, sometimes going out, sometimes staying in and relaxing, watching movies, etc etc.

I have a great deal of interest in rock music, and play whenever I get the chance. I am proficient on the Bass, Guitar, Keyboard, and Drums, and I enjoy any opportunity I get to play. My taste in music itself is very varied, and I very much enjoy music on an intellectual level as well.

I also like to play tennis and raquetball in my free time, along with golf, which I very recently started teaching myself.

I spend a good amount of time reading, as well, usually works people have never heard of (i.e. Italo Svevo, Freud's early work, etc etc.)

After working for about 3 years post-college, I have decided to go back to graduate school and pursue my true calling, being a Mathematics secondary school teacher. It was what I wanted to do in the first place, but I got sidetracked by a career, heh.

In my free time, I mostly like to spend it with a select few people who I care very much about. I can be a social butterfly if I want to be, but I prefer the more quiet type of life sometimes.

Music, Making fun of myself, Learning about my surroundings/fellow human beings, making humorous observations about just about anything and everything.

When people first meet me, they tend to think of me as strange. I'm one of those people who can be very "uncomfortable" at first, but its not really who I am. Those who probe deeper and spend more time with me often give me positive feedback.

Books: Anything by Italo Svevo, Kurt Vonnegut, Franz Kafka, H.G. Wells, Isaac Asimov, Fyodor Dostoyevsky

Movies: Mostly comedies. Ghostbusters, Spaceballs, History of the World, Monty Python movies, Labyrinth, scary movies too (the old classic ones that are actually scary though, not the new junk)

In no particular order:

A lot of things, from the mundane "stuff I have to do this week" to the complex mysteries of the universe. I have an interest in the scientific understanding of who/where/what we, as a civilization, are, and where we are going. I also enjoy thinking about world politics.

Probably over a friend's house, or having friends over my house, and sometimes we will be out catching a movie, or some kind of event along the same lines.

There really isn't very much about me that is private...

...I am extremely ticklish.
