My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a girl!

No but seriously. I am ridiculous, thoughtful, and according to everyone else quirky.

I'm an avid reader, video gamer and over all entertainment junkie. Movie, shows, dancing, museums, fun crazy conversations at a bar, the library (I was a book once, true story), and really anything mentally stimulating makes me happy. I like stuff and things. I go to quite a few Scifi/Comic conventions, mostly because they are awesome but also to sell my work.

Everyone seems to talk about their work-outs here: I swim or run when I feel like it, and I do strength training 3 times a week. High five, bro. But, let's not work out together, I go solo, because I'm a loner, Dottie, a rebel.

In short, I like to make things, kill computer generated persons, and do things, sometimes with people.

INTJ Gemini (one is true the other is hilarious)

Got it? Good.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Day job: I'm the production assistant, QCer, and sometimes engineer at an audiobook recording studio.

I'm also an artist. I work primarily in scratchboard, pen/ink, and print making. I do a lot of commissions and I sell my work online and at Sci/Fi conventions or art/group/gallery shows when I can.

I'd like to eventually have my art be my main source of income but I'm doing well enough for right now.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Arts & Crafts (a lot of them), useless fact knowing, mimicking accents and different voices, and selling people things.

I'm actually really good at keeping calm in high stress situations. I saved a woman's life once. True story. (That's kind of bragging but it's more a if there is a zombie apocalypse, I could totally hold my own... probably...)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My hair is green. It also matches my glasses. The glasses came after the hair.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I love books.
Ray Bradbury is my favorite author and Dandelion Wine is my favorite book. I read mostly fantasy/scifi and non-fiction.
Authors: Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, Garth Nix, Charles de Lint, Edgar Allan Poe, HP Lovecraft, Tess Gerritsen, George R.R. Martin, Philip Pullman, Laurie Notaro, Lewis Carroll, Shakespeare (don't hate), Jane Austen, and so on. I can and have read about 200 books in a year, so I read a lot.
In terms of non-fiction, I like books about nature, evolution, and psychology/neurology.

I hate romance novels. Debbie Macomber is my arch-nemesis. I actually don't really like romance plots in stories that really don't warrant a romance plot. This is why Mad Max: Fury Road and Pacific Rim are great.

I love movies. Who doesn't like movies? I can't even, there are too many.

My favorite tv show of all time is the X-Files. Full stop.

Current live action shows: Elememtary, Miss Fisher Mysteries (insert shit ton of British mystery shows, yes, yes Miss Fisher is Australian, shush), NCIS(etc), Brooklyn Nine it solving a mystery and maybe dark/gritty? Yes? Then I'm watching it.

Current animated: Gravity Falls. I'm rewatching the Simpsons and just started watching a new show, Star vs the Forces of Evil (it's like Sailor Moon threw up glitter and evil hell spiders which turned into a rainbow that then caught on fire).

I like most things classified under the "Rock" genre. I listen mostly to punk, garage/soul, and anything that makes me happy really. I'll like list some stuff now: Cursive, Jawbreaker, The Ergs, Rancid, The Ramones, Bouncing Souls, Iggy Pop, Black Flag, Legendary Shack Shakers, The Queers, Paint It Black, Minor Threat, the Distillers, Teenage Bottlerocket, The Devil Makes Three, the Menzingers, Me First & The Gimme Gimmes, Less Than Jake, and The Get Up Kids...and Taylor Swift.

I eat stuff. Maybe not all the things, but a lot of the things. I have a few food allergies is all. If I could eat Thai curry most days, I would, I'll add that.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I used to have six things always in my bag but my bag has basically transformed into a briefcase, so...

Soap. Soap is pretty important.

Floss. If you don't floss, your heart will fail and you'll die or become a's true. Happened to my uncle.

Water. Water is pretty essential.

Bees. Beads? BEES!

Sun screen, parasol, shade of some kind. I'm hella pale (probably part vampire. I'm mildly anemic, just sayin') and I'd like to not look like a lobster and, you know, get skin cancer.

The spice. The spice is life.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I was told by a friend recently that my brain works like an awkward unicorn. It's magical but a little hard to follow.

I think about a lot and it pinballs around. My logical is sound but my reasoning is a little convoluted.

I think about everything from the jedi vs the sith, feminism, omg surprise Batman in this comic I read, mental health issues, playing as a mage is more fun than I had anticipated, this government oof ggooOOOO Congress! *sarcasm drips from heroic posed fist*, you know, this, that, and the other thing.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends maybe at the movies, a bar, concert or sitting around doing stuff by myself. Typical people things, you know, stuff.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am afraid of space. It is big and scary and probably full of things trying to kill you. I will NOT be signing up to go to Mars.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You care about things. Be interested in something. I don't like apathy. I like to laugh, who doesn't.

Bonus points: you are a feminist. You don't care that I'm into cartoons/anime or you are also into cartoons/anime (to the weeaboos who see this, I will NOT be your waifu. I just like animation as an art form). You don't care that I or you also enjoy playing video games, but please don't hate on consoles because that's obnoxious.

Do NOT message me if you think feminists are bitches/lame/crazy. Just move along. Also, if you message me with "Hi" or "How u doin," I will not respond. If you take the time to actually write something that isn't a single, grammatically mismanaged sentence, then we'll talk. Maybe.
