What I’m doing with my life
For the past six years I have been a teacher at a continuation
school. This is my last year. I am a thesis away from graduating--
working toward becoming an MFT. I don't think this is the end of my
education, however, and certainly not the end of my learning.
I've done some art and had a show or two, but haven't done any in a while.

Apart from that, I am trying to find balance and health. At 35, I'm stepping into adulthood confidently. Certain factors have changed recently that have left me welcoming and at peace with my age and the responsibility that comes with it. So, in tune with these epiphanies, I am embracing health in ways that I hadn't before. And trying to take advantage of all that I have been given.

Film: Not generally the typical Hollywood fare. I loved Seven Samurai and The Passion of Joan of Arc. But I also love to watch big Hollywood movies, too. Usually, those films with over-reaching archetypal themes. Like Ironman.
Really, anything that has soul... and that goes for both the books, the music, and film.
And hey, that includes food too. By far and away, the best food is the kind that's cooked w/ love.

What attracts two people. Y'know, how is it that we can walk into a room and immediately know who we want to talk to? This, I'm sure, goes beyond appearance. And, down deep, has to do with unconscious, unknowable, mysterious elements that we possess and that are somehow reflected in the other. At least, this is as much as I have been able to deduce.

Honestly, its not that exciting.
I usually crash for an hour or so after work.
Wake up.
Figure out what I want to eat.
Go to the market.
Cook.
Eat.
Relax.
Look forward to the rest of the weekend.
