I am smart, artistic, and funny.
My Self-Summary
I'm awesome, yet under appreciated.
My name's David, I'm a twenty something living in Winnipeg
Manitoba. I'm a brilliant friend, a charitable companion, a
wonderful conversationalist, and an amazing kisser... only one way
to prove me wrong gentlemen ;)
I've got my own place, I'm done school (Got m'BA), I'm learning how
to cook, I'm in the process of getting back into a more regular
work out schedule, I love roller blading, I'm pretty dang artistic
when it comes to drawing (ask and I'll show you my portfolio
sometime... no that isn't a come-on... though maybe it should be.)
I personally think I'm pretty funny, so do the other people that I
make laugh a lot... either that or I have a lot of people with a
great degree of pity in my life. Though I'm still single so it
can't be the pity thing.
I'm also a committed Christian, (as all the gays flee the room) I
realize that probably is something that's a bit of a liability to
mention on here, but I promise I'm not the crazy kind.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently I'm in cell phone sales which... is... interesting? I
sell iPhones and BlackBerries all day. In addition to that I'll
soon be moving into my second year of living on my own, after four
years of dorm and a year back under my parent's roof. I'm learning
how to cook and in general trying to become a real grown up?
I’m really good at
Drawing in Photoshop... when I show people my stuff they are always
like, "Noooo, you did this!? Dude you should draw a graphic
novel/photo of me and my wife/pictures for such and such a
company/do free work for me/kiss me cause you're so hot..." OK so I
made up the last one... though I'm waiting for that day.
I also write poetry
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my incredible sexyness... it tends to be a major selling
point...
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Hmm I like the Bible? A Generous Orthodoxy? Till the Heart Sings: A
Biblical Theology of Manhood and Womanhood?
Movies? Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Saved!, The Devil
Wears Prada, Bender's Big Score uhh.. a few others? I like most of
the Pixar Flicks, the new Star Trek was good, I don't watch movies
much, they're mainly for cuddling haha.
For TV shows, Pushing Daisies, Doctor Who, Firefly, B5, Boston
Legal... and shows by their creators :)
Music, oh my I buy about a CD a week... currently listening to
Anberlin, like everything from Five Iron Frenzy or the OC
Supertones, to Mat Kearney, Paul Wright, Levi Kries, Mae, The
Benjamin Gate, Brave Saint Saturn, The Wedding, We Shot the Moon,
Waking Ashland, Plumb, Skillet, Switchoot, Jon Foreman, Derek Webb,
Reliant K, the list goes on, I have approximately 424 albums, by
141 artists spanning 62 genres, and you've probably never heard of
them... did I mention I actually pay for my music?
Food, I like most western foods... not a huge fan of eastern
stuff... which would probably be better for me.
The six things I could never do without
My MacBook, my iPhone, (Bible's on both so we shan't include that!)
I assume I get the necessities like TP and food... soo... hope?
friends? Wow I'm lame, basically most things can be handled by
those two devices...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future of the technology industry... friends, new creative
ventures, theology, people... yah...
On a typical Friday night I am
Either out with friends or resting after a long week at work.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I played with my little ponies as a child?
You should message me if
Well, if you want to chat, I'll probably write back, dating,
friendship, heck you can even hit on me and tell me you want to do
naughty things that will make me blush and send you back a polite
no thank you, those always make me feel attractive :)
