My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello, Cupiders! I hope your 2014 is going well so far. Mine is excellent but I'd love to find the right partner in crime...or just misdemeanors. I LOVE San Francisco and want to find someone to accompany me on my never-ending exploration.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Having fun, riding my bike, walking my dog, enjoying some "night life" (that's a euphemism; BARS, I go to BARS), a lot of music. I have a pretty stressful job, but I usually enjoy the challenge.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm good at guitar. I should play more. I was in a band until recently and then, poof, it was gone. Looking for a new gig, so, double bonus points for bass players!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I think my eyes. I don't know, I believe I've got a generally welcoming demeanor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I like many things. I admire creative people and try to view, read, listen to, and eat things with an open mind. I'm not one of those cynical people who looks for things to dislike. I'll try just about anything.

I like all the artsy TV shows and movies, but I'm not snobby. I like Mad Men AND I like Pawn Stars. I miss Breaking Bad. If you don't watch TV, you're missing some good stuff. I like Wes Anderson movies and Pixar movies. Just don't drag me to any more superhero reboots..

I read a lot for work so my extracurricular reading is fairly light and mostly done on vacations and during the holidays. I read a lot of classic lit in my youth and I occasionally dust that stuff off.

As far as music, I try to stay current and I really enjoy getting out there and seeing live bands. I'm lucky to live close to so many great music venues. I'd rather see a brand new band at Cafe Du Nord than a major act at the Fillmore. Unlike a lot of my contemporaries, I enjoy music festivals. To me, the crowds are worth it to see a bunch of great bands and enjoy some outdoor drinking. I had a list of obscure bands here but I deleted it. You're welcome. Right now I'm enjoying the new album by Woods. Oh and Temples!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My dog, a camera, a guitar, a good looking pair of shoes, someone to text with. I've been led to believe the vast majority of my organs are necessary as well.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I have micro-obsessions. Lately I've been thinking about records a lot. You know, vinyl LPs. I might be becoming one of *those* guys. But, as god is my witness, I will never grow a nerd ponytail (again)!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
There's a good chance there's wine involved. Usually somewhere not-too-noisy relaxing. Unless I'm out seeing a band, then it can be kind of noisy.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
30 years of rock'n'roll has done a number on my hearing so I often just nod rather than asking people to repeat themselves over and over.
