My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
E or I but definitely NTP.

Intensely focused on the now. I make the best of the moments as they come.
Has grand plans. I am working hard to accomplish some long-term life goals. Sometimes, this means that I don't have the best work-life balance. I try to balance the unbalanced times with other unbalanced times to compensate.
Passionate. I am an intense person, logically and emotionally. I'm also aware that my opinions aren't shared by everybody. Please be able to deal with those things.
Likes variety. I like to mix it up. It's not like me to do the same thing two nights in a row or to frequent the same restaurant twice in a week.
Very open minded. I'm open to and have friends with many different lifestyles. Sexually and otherwise, I'm fascinated, curious, and inquisitive. I consider myself GGG and you should be too.

Taking it all in, one day at a time.
Eating well and without compromise.

Working at a software start-up in the Financial District. We entertain people every day.

I am always striving to do the following:
1. Foreseeing the consequences of my actions.
2. Learning from all people.
3. Living out the lessons I've learned.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Software Engineering and Engineering Management: This is my career, and I take it very seriously. Update - recently moved into Product Management at our startup. It's a fun new challenge!
cooking - Ask me about my risotto.
scrabble - A long time ago, I amounted five consecutive podium finishes at Literacy Volunteers' Annual Charity Scrabble Tournament, but now I'm out of practice. How am I supposed to know whether or not you want me to lose to you on purpose ahead of time?
Learning to speak various languages.
Connecting with people from different ethnic, national, or religious backgrounds. I have traveled to several countries around the world, and I am confident that I have begun to understand what is common between all of us in the human condition.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Lately, it has been my boombox laptop bag. The thing seems to attract a lot of attention.
After that, you'd probably notice that I walk very quickly unless asked to slow down.
Later on, you'd realize I love to talk about food, wine, and spirits.
And even later, if you're lucky, you'll find out that I like to have long deep conversations about spirituality, science, technology, and even politics.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I like books about food, psychology, the human condition, mythology, and great stories.
Food: Everything when made with care and love. In restaurants, I am a huge fan of places that make a small amount of things extremely well. Cafe Jacqueline, HOPR, and Mission Bowling Club are good examples. I love to cook, and if we meet several times, I will probably cook for you.

Music: This list could go on forever, so instead I'll just talk about recent live shows.
Steve Martin, Devil Makes Three, Trampled by Turtles, and String Cheese Incident at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass.
Warpaint at the Independent.
Gary Clark Jr., The Black Crowes, ZZ Ward, The Bright Light Social Hour, Kim Churchill, Selwyn Birchwood Band, and more at Telluride Blues and Brews.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Some things that come to mind include:

Cognitive reasoning and critical thinking - May I please count these as one?
Social interactions - It's important for me to spend time around friends and loved ones. We help each other understand and appreciate the world around us.
Music - Listening to music is a part of my daily life. I also enjoy seeing live shows whenever possible.
Visual aesthetic - I like looking at pretty things or pretty people. I feel fortunate that San Francisco offers so much of this in my day to day life.
The Outdoors - This overlaps with some of the previous items, but getting out of the city and hiking or getting fresh air in some other way is important.
Math - I can count to six!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You regularly participate in activities about which you are passionate. It doesn't need to be the same thing that pays the bills, but if it is, that's also great.

You are strong, you know what you like, and you are capable of forming your own opinions.

You know that saying you are "low-drama" doesn't make it true.

You live within 15 miles of San Francisco, but you like to escape the city on the weekends.

You would enjoy doing the one or all of the following activities with me:
Going to see a rock show at The Warfield or The Fox.
Going to Napa/Sonoma to enjoy the fresh air and drink some great wine.
Tahoe for skiing and/or snowboarding.
Skydiving. (Or even just practicing in Union City)
Cooking. I think the best way to become a better cook is to cook with other people and learn each other's techniques.
Going to Nightlife at the museum.
