My self-summary Propose an edit

I generally think of myself as having a pretty crazy combination of interests. I like to spend time hiking/backpacking, performing with fire (poi, staff, and rope dart), playing ultimate/disc golf, running, cycling, cooking, and watching movies. I also consider myself pretty smart, but not in the obnoxious over analytical way. More in the, I can understand confusing/nerdy stuff sort of way.

For a brief personal history, I grew up in central Virginia, went to college in Massachusetts, and moved to Greensboro, NC to work as an engineer. The only problem I've run into since moving to Greensboro is that I don't really know anyone in the area and all of the people I work with are around 45. Trying to pick up girls at bars is not really my thing, and my hobbies aren't the most convenient for meeting girls. Hence, I have turned to the internet.

I recently moved to Greensboro to work as a manufacturing engineer. Basically that means I spend most of my day working with big ass machines that make all of the electrical components in cars.
