My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a transplant from the Bay Area, California and love living in Boston. Slowly I've been figuring out what I want to do with my life but I think I have a pretty good idea now.

I live in Porter with 3 roommates (two girls and a guy) and have a great group of friends who come over to our house every Thursday for a potluck. I like playing sports (soccer, flag football, kickball, softball, skiing) more than watching, though I'll definitely sit down for a Patriots game, or any other Boston team for that matter. I just don't go nuts about it.

I love music and go dancing whenever possible. I have also been seeing a lot of live music and really appreciate a quality folk band when I find one.

I also love cats and dogs but am allergic to them. That's what antihistamines are for!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Rebelling against my mom and working in finance/consulting. Probably will start studying for the GMAT soon too...hellooo Starbucks.

Trying to find as much awesome new music as possible.

Being a sous-chef for my friends/roommates who actually know how to cook. I just learned that baby romaine lettuce is not just small romaine lettuce. Who knew?

Maybe my purposefully messy hair?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Catch-22, The Things They Carried, Cat's Cradle, Game of Thrones

Movies: Garden State, Gladiator, Saving Private Ryan, Gettysburg, the new Star Trek reboot

Shows: House, Scrubs, Suits, White Collar, Family Guy, Big Bang Theory, Sherlock (the one with Bandicoot Crumblycake, love that guy), The West Wing

Music: Coldplay, Dash Berlin, Bon Iver, Alexi Murdoch, Sigur Ros, The Head and the Heart, Ben Howard, Of Monsters and Men, Mumford & Sons, The Oh Hello's (seriously, if you like indie/folk, check these guys out. They are the next big thing), Audien, Andrew Rayel, Cosmic Gate, the old Evolution 101.7 Boston. I sometimes wish Zach Braff could create a soundtrack for my life.

Food: Pretty much everything. Especially Thai and Mexican though. Jell-o pudding cups. And brunch. Always brunch.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music, friends, Google maps, dancing, Fresca, Saturday morning pick-up sports.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How unthinkably large the universe is.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
It seems that many people on here see Friday night as a time for rest/recovery. While I understand and accept this, my view is that when I go out on Friday my weekends always feel like they're twice as long and then I can do whatever I want Saturday night without the risk of feeling like I don't have a nightlife.

Long story short, I'm either out at a bar (hopefully) dancing with friends or if nothing is going on, having a night in with my roomies and Netflix.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I used to ballroom dance competitively.

Message me if you think we'd like each other. A dating site is not a place to be shy!

I guess I have two preferences:
1) You like seeing live music and dancing.
2) You like getting massages. I don't think I could date someone who doesn't; that's just crazy!
