My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
So, I figured it was high time to update this thing, since I've been here for almost a year now. My name is Ryan, I like whiskey, tattoos, great food, nerdy pursuits, science, the distillation of spirits, the reaction of yeast with simple sugars and hops, the mountains, occasional loud music, a good day on the golf course, long weekends, clean sheets, and travel. Obviously, that isn't everything that I love, but a tidy little list.

I'm an INTJ, if you're into that whole thing. That being said, sometimes I find it hard to meet new people, unless we have shared interests, then I'll be your best bud. Going out and trying to meet people can be a challenge because I find mindless small talk quite boring, I'd really rather not talk about the weather, I know what it's doing out there, thank you very much.

I really, really hate writing these damn things, I feel like some sort of car salesman, and I really suck at selling things. If I had to sell myself though, I guess I would have to go with my strongest selling point; I'm a pretty damn good cook, so good in fact, that people actually pay me for it. It's pretty awesome. What's even better, I generally work a typical 9-5er M-F, and get to travel for work. Definitely not something most chefs get to enjoy. Was it worth moving to Milwaukee for? You bet your ass it was. The only thing missing, now that I have actual free time, is a kick ass lady to spend said free time with. Can the internet come through for me?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working hard, playing hard and trying to learn more artisanal things. I think people have gotten too far away from the craft of the old world and working with our hands.

I'm pretty into the rockabilly world too, love rat rods and car shows, and classy pin up ladies.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking and strange trivia.
The first things people usually notice about me

My glasses, tattoos, or the fact that I'm quite tall.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
New foods to cook, how much longer I must wait till my latest cured meat will be ready to eat, social inequality, the current state of political affairs in America, where I would like to travel to, how much I hate pants (sometimes)
