Well for starters, my name's Amanda. I'm 21 years old and live in NW Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Lets see... I love spending time with my friends and doing exiting things with them. I'm a bit of a movie buff, but I like it haha. I like going out to random bars/pubs, but I'm not a huge fan of nightclubs. Although, going on a pub crawl with the right kind of people can make all the difference! I'm pretty close to my family, so family values are important to me. I like to try new things, like I've never been to laser tag, or scuba diving, and I think it'd be an interesting experience.

I've traveled a bit, not as much as I would like to though. I've been to the East Coast, and down to the states, but would like to go see more of the world.

I need someone who is down to earth, compassionate, humorous, and honest. I need someone who will be very compatible with myself, and who will stick with me through think and thin. Someone that can be themselves around me, and I can do the same. Someone who will always tell me the truth, even if it hurts. Someone to be my friend, and whatever else that may come with that.

I am also NOT willing to lie about where we met... five years ago online dating was frowned upon, but it's not now, so I'd be proud to say where we met :P

As well, you need to be a clean, civilised person, who will push me when I need it, and not give in because I want you to. I like a good argument now and then, healthy for the mind, you know. ;)

I'm not looking for someone who's on the rebound, someone who can't commit to a relationship, someone that will lie to either get what they want or make me happy. I cannot stand people who are stupidly dependent, or clingy. I like and need my own space to be happy. As well, if you have the mind capacity of a goldfish, don't bother messaging me either. I've had enough crap from guys who think they're all that, and I'm sick of it. Serious people ONLY.

As of right now, I recently started working at an insurance company as an Administrative Assistant. I absolutely love it! There hasn't been a day yet where I've said to myself, "I hate my job, I don't want to be at work!".

Cracking jokes with my fantastic quick-witted sarcasm. Hmmm... lets see... I'm good at baking and cooking, when I feel like doing it LoL. Good at finishing a crossword game on my Nintendo DS in under 45 seconds! I'm sure there's more, I just need more time to think... :D

Are my blue eyes (so I've been told), and my smile :D And of course, my humour!

I can't even begin to start on what foods I enjoy, I love almost all food :)

My favourite books are The Farthest Away Mountain, the Harry Potter series, the Twilight Saga, and Twins.

My favourite movies would have to include Juno, Penelope, Superbad, and The Hangover.

As for music and food, I love almost all kinds. :)

Usually working, gotta love shift work! If I'm not, I may be out at the local pub with my friends, or spending time with them elsewhere! Or possibly sitting at home, watching a good movie. :)

I sometimes buy flowers for myself and get them wrapped up all pretty, just to take them home and open them. Hehe. :)
