My self-summary
I've been a Chicago area guy for most of my life; moved to the city a couple years ago just after undergrad because someone told me there was gold.

I would like to think I'm more suave than I am; but typically I range from serious to goofball on any given day.

I love good banter/wit, if you can keep up with me or if I want to keep up with you, that's a really good thing.

I tend to over-analyze everything (which is probably why this self summary is taking so long), Ockham's razor is more accurate than you think.

When I'm sitting, my right leg tends to flex like I'm standing on my tippy toes; it's usually when I'm nervous or eating or infatuated or ... you know what, it pretty much does it all the time.

I like to talk but love to listen. Dynamic conversation is great, but I'm also fluent in the nonsensical.

I, along with my family, have an encompassing and severe obsession with the Chicago Bears during the season.

I don't like to be categorized, I am many things and like to/would like to do many interesting things. I am constantly fascinated and intrigued by the world around me.

These self summaries really don't do a person justice, and those questions...are just awful, man.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently living in the city as a new attorney! The past couple years I've been really committed to my studies and work, but lately I've had the desire to break out more, meet new people and maybe meet someone.
I’m really good at
Problem solving, water-associated athletics, cooking medium difficulty culinary dishes and photography (I love taking photos ... so please excuse my profile pic)
The first things people usually notice about me
My stature, I'm a viking. Trust me though, you won't need a step ladder...well maybe.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Arcadia, The Art of War, Nomenclature of Organic Chemistry, The Power and the Glory, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Blue Book, Grendel, The Lorax, The Count of Monte Cristo, A Boy's Life, Granta, and I have a pile for my free time..

Movies: I love of lot of different movies for different reasons, it depends.

Shows: I really don't watch tv, but I can say that I love True Blood, The Walking Dead and I appreciate a good netflix find.

Music: I have an eclectic taste and generally I'm in pursuit of new music all the time; one can never have enough [insert some quote about music and language of the soul etc. ]

Food: I love food, good food. I have a minor passion for cooking and cooking techniques. I find chefs and people in culinary school fascinating and I am constantly bugging them about what they do. In my family cooking is an expression of how you feel for somebody and I find that to be very true.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Becoming a better person. Exploring potential, improving myself and problem solving weigh on the mind much of the day. I spend a lot of time in my thoughts.
On a typical Friday night I am
My Fridays are not typical..

(Note: someone called me out on this and I have to admit, I would have been better off saying I fight dragons on a Friday night. So now I fight dragons on a Friday night)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Before I left home for college, my mother made something around the number of 175 chocolate chip cookies because she feared that I would starve when I was away. On the first day, my freshman year roommate ate several, informed every passing freshman to have one and then suggested to me to just go around and introduce myself with the cookies. So I did. I walked up and down the dorm handing out cookies saying, "Have a cookie, be my friend." By that night, everyone in the dorm knew me as the cookie guy or cookie monster, which was quickly shortened to "Coomo" for brevity's sake. It was my nickname from the first day of college till this day (in fact, there are still people that I've met that don't know my real name, which by the way has a funny story as well)
