My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A friend once called me the Keith Richards a la Jack Sparrow, and I like to think I deserved it. Be the change you want to see, right? And I want a world filled with wobbly rock stars. Wobbly rock stars you've never heard of everywhere.

I go climbing, I bike everywhere, I am always looking to get into the woods. Give me trees rocks and moss and I'm happy. I go dancing, do yoga, know how to juggle. Basically I'm a huge fan of all the different things there are to do with a body. So versatile! Not just moving, however; I'm also an expert lounger. Snuggles and tv. If cookies are involved: perfection. If not, I'll bake some.

I love long conversation on big ideas. I like understanding how things are put together; refrigerators, ant hives, systems of privilege. You know. Stuff.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I moved to Portland not too long ago, having somewhat recently acquiring a degree in physics. I work at a climbing gym, teaching a bit and running kids programs.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Board games. Climbing things. Hugs. Sleeping in a tent. Dancing. Making tasty foods and treats. Questions.
The first things people usually notice about me

Movies: Amelie, Eternal Sunshine, LotR, Star Wars, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Die Hard (the best Christmas movie).

Shows: Firefly, Doctor Who, Community, Adventure Time, Cowboy Bebop.

Games: Shadow of the Colossus, Okami, Harvest Moon, Dominion, Smash Up!, and the most cutthroat, fast-paced game I've played: the Monopoly card game.

Music: Tallest Man, Black Keys, Pink Floyd, Clapton, Bon Iver, Modest Mouse, Macklemore, Kings of Leon, Mumford & Sons, Alexi Murdoch, Bright Eyes, Girlyman, Hendrix, the Stones, The Who, Radical Face, Simon & Garfunkel, Buble, Chopin, Beethoven, Velvet Underground, Regina Spektor, Ingrid Michaelson, The Mountain Goats, Avett Brothers, Allman Brothers, the Hunts, Foreign Fields, and on and on seriously it's music what do you expect?

My favorite food is whatever food I'm eating.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Contact with people I love. Physical activity. Stimulating conversation. Good food. Being outside.

Eh, number six I'll keep to myself.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I could be doing better. Social structures and where/who they are failing. How the world fits together. People and perspectives. The ridiculous interconnectivity of our lives and the sobering separation of the millions of people who don't know anything about each other. Sonder. Love, relationship, communication, sex. Kyriarchy, oppression, privilege. Where I would adventure given the option.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Climbing, dancing, dance party, game night, or at home cooking up a nice dinner because there's isn't really anything special about Fridays and it's always a good night for a nice dinner. If I don't work the weekend I try to go on bigger adventures. Little adventures are ok too.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Not having read Dune is a hit to my nerd cred.

Alternatively: I have nerd cred.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You don't take things too seriously. You like a good adventure. You think traditional gender roles are so last year.

You like cookies, cuddles, and consent.

I'm not really looking to start anything serious. Stuff happens as it happens.
