I've been away from here for a while, busy with life. I have some time now to enjoy things by myself. It might be nice to experience some of the things life has to offer with someone else.
Apparently OK Cupid thinks the following about me. Who am I to argue? :)
I am Intelligent, Humorous, and Inquisitive
What I’m doing with my life
Whatever I want I guess. I keep reinventing myself a little bit at a time. With no one to ground me I'm just going where it feels right at the time. My job is stable and I have been in it for a long time. I enjoy my work. I find it challenging most days and I have good co-workers to pass the time and share thoughts with. I have a plan for this year, something kind of interesting and fun. Ask me about it.
I’m really good at
I'd like to think that I am really good at making people laugh. I'd
like to think that, so I guess I will think that. Yes, I've
definitely decided to think that. :) Ok perhaps I make them smirk.
Did you smirk, just a little? Admit it. You did. If you are saying
that you didn't then you are simply in denial and we should
certainly discuss that further, don't you agree?
The first things people usually notice about me
My silliness. Unless I am somewhere where silliness would be
inappropriate. Then not that, definitely not that. Certainly my
glasses because I wear glasses and they are right there on my face,
tough to miss. Some people ask me if I have to wear glasses. The
answer is no. I don't *have* to wear glasses. I could just walk
around bumping into things. I *prefer* to wear glasses, saves on
band-aids and the like. You understand. I can wear contact lenses.
Here is how they work for me.... I put a lens in my right eye, that
is for seeing distance and I put a lens in my left eye, that is for
seeing up close and my brain decides which image to use depending
on what I want to see. It's called mono-vision and doesn't work for
everyone but it works for me. Pretty cool, huh. But if I want to
read something, like a menu or a book, I need to take out a pair of
reading glasses. So back to glasses. I save the mono-vision contact
lenses for special occasions, like the zombie apocalypse because
you know having glasses is a total death sentence then. Right?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Completely eclectic. Hit me up and we'll discuss.
The six things I could never do without
Outside the obvious.
Sunshine, not for tannning, or converting A to D but because it's warm and beautiful and makes me feel good.
Animals, dogs and cats in particular because they can live with you, because they love you unconditionally and make you play with them and keep you young and cuddle with you.
Books, real books, not kindle or ibooks. I like electonic books. But some books have to be felt, touched. Some books are illustrated and signed and that can't be copied into something electronic.
Fabric, cotton, soft, bamboo, blend, yarns, alpaca, silk.
Friends, real, honest when you don't want to hear it, honest when you need to hear it, love you when you feel unlovable, hold you when you feel untouchable, die for you, die with you, save you, won't let you go, friends.
Family, the reason you need friends (hehehe) but can't live with out them either.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything, really, ask anyone that knows me. Really random things.
About nature, the earth, people, why things are the way they are,
how they work, it fascinates me. I want to know, why.
And I want to have fun finding out!
On a typical Friday night I am
Typical? huh? I don't understand the question. Please rephrase.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I wish I had heterochromia. Go ahead and ask.
You should message me if
Message me if you feel like it. It doesn't mean anything has to
come of it and I'm not going to persue you just because you sent a
note. If you're curious, say hi. If not, hope you enjoyed the
reading and have a great day!
