My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've just moved to Brooklyn for a job, but I'm originally from Nebraska (go Huskers). I moved to London for law school and then took a job in Houston. So I'm kind a way? Um, but not really. Love to travel the world and experience different cultures, read, films...y'know, all the other things that everyone loves to do.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Not much. Just joking! I work for a human rights non-profit, the same one I worked for in London. I am a latte sipping liberal for sure (perhaps the very definition) so beware that my work is quite controversial and I strongly believe in it. (That's not to say that I can't discuss "the other side", but if that drives you nuts, you can't say I didn't warn ya.)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
sarcasm... I'm hopelessly efficient and can make plans like no one's business.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My laugh. I have a hugely large laugh. It annoys some, others tell me it's endearing. And I laugh a lot. A lot.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I adore Shakespeare. I love to read so am willing to read just about anything (although perhaps not sci-fi and fantasy). A fan of non-fiction mostly. I also love movies and TV box sets, and am slightly obsessed with Mad Men, True Blood, Veep, The Mindy Project, and 30 Rock. I love horror films, but can take a miss on the chick flicks. I have been a vegetarian since the age of 9 and have recently become a vegan.

But I'm always up for new things.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My passport; my watch (hate being late); shoes (cliche but true); my phone (yes, I'm that annoying person that checks her emails constantly...I apologize in advance). My amazing network of friends who have been absolutely supportive of my BS. And um...running/yoga/dancing/etc./etc.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I try not to think. It's just so taxing.

Where I'm going to travel to next.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At a pub for one or two and then home to watch movies and chill out. I'll go on Saturdays, but usually pretty laid back on Fridays.

Since moving to Brooklyn, circumstances have seen it fit to place me at the laundromat on Friday evenings. So...that sucks.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Haha, what do people actually admit to on here?! I can't think of anything as I don't really hide anything anyway, but as soon as I can think of something, I promise to post it.
