I am the laidback easy-going type. I Keep it simple, and keep it real. I enjoy many outdoor activities such as (hiking, climbing, fishing, and exploring) nothing too extreme.
I like to cook, especially grilling vegetables. I tend to be a critic when it comes to food, but I do enjoy a variety.

What I’m doing with my life

Right now I am fortunate to have a great full-time job as a caretaker for an enormous log vacation home. I've been looking into finding some beautiful land to purchase. I have interest in becoming a DNR or forest ranger some where down the line.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I enjoy reading and learning from all types of field guides (mushrooms,trees,birds,fish,insects). I like any non-fiction stories of nature and adventure. Some of my favorite movies are (shawshank redemption, forrest gump, dumb&dumber, animated movies, Dane Cook standup) I am open minded to different types of music, my main focus is classic rock, bluegrass, and reggae. You might catch me listening to any thing from the Greatful Dead and Lynyrd Skynyrd to Bob Marley or Vassar Clemets. Some of my favorite foods to snack on are LARGE black olives, cucumber or avocado slices. I also enjoy grilling vegetables and ciabatta bread. I'm a big sushi fan as long as the ingredients are fresh of course. Like with most things I think I'm pretty open minded to try about any thing.

The six things I could never do without

I don't like this question. Do what? If they mean live without than I'm going to have to be a wiseass and list the obvious
(food, water, oxygen, whiteblood cells, the sun, and icecream)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Mushrooms! I like learning all about them. The choice edibles and even the poisonous ones. I spend a lot of time thinking of when and where to look for certain ones like morels. I think about them so much that I sometimes wonder if I have fungus growing in my brain, not really that's pretty gross to think about. I would say nature in general is frequently on my mind.
