Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I must be a zombie... because I'm loving your brains.
I'm thoughtful, busy, and curious. I'm passionate about what I do
with my days. I'm happy listening to great music, chilling with
friends and a movie or boardgame, and getting out on a bike or a
pair of skis.
I split my time between Kitchener-Waterloo and Toronto. Both are
awesome. Both are "home".
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Living a purposeful life, with a focus on environmental progress.
Making a difference, and some great friends along the way.
Also, watching slow traffic from a fast train. Never gets old.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Seeing things in a systemic way; I like to think about what is
behind events in the news and decisions people make.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My handshake. Perhaps also that I'm quite a busy guy, but I love
what I'm busy with, and I'll always make time for a special
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Non-fiction, especially in the pop-sociology and
urban/environmental issues area (such as The Creative Class series
by Richard Florida).
Movies: Anything but horror. Sometimes I like a silly comedy or
car-chases-and-'splosions action, but indy and international is
where it's at.
Shows: Big Bang Theory (I went to U. Waterloo - haven't we all
lived with those guys?), Whale Wars (Antarctica - 'nuff said), The
Agenda (attention span? on TV? yay!)
Music: Singer-Songwriter, World, Celtic, Swing/Big Band, electronic
in the background while I work, and pretty much anything on Radio 2
(Sheepdogs, Adele, Foster The People, Deep Dark Woods, Joel
Plaskett, Sarah Harmer)... so much more, old and new.
Food: Pasta, anything brought to a Potluck, pumpkin pie, hmmm...
turns out I'm not picky as long as the menu is alliterative.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) At least one camping night every summer
3) My Presto card
4) My blackberry (except during well-deserved e-fasts)
5) Grand schemes
6) Mountain Equipment Co-op
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future, how to help out, and how to make that desire
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Seeing a new movie, looking forward to a fun or busy weekend.

You need someone to fix the city with.
You need someone to appreciate your freckles. :)
