I'm a nerd. I frequent the Ren Faire, play WoW, read in my spare time and don't have much of a social life. I used to write...these days I haven't the time, but am hoping that I can get back into it. I miss the leisure days of sipping iced chai, rambling out inane thoughts onto paper while people watching. Although, on any given day, I will either watch South Park, Mst3k, American Dad or Family Guy to relax. Even if all I have time for is half an episode...it's well worth it. I think it's a good thing when you don't take life too seriously. I'm not a fan of drama.

What I’m doing with my life

I am currently a student...not entirely sure where I shall end up, but I'm hoping to try out a little of everything until I figure that part out. Global Studies has currently peaked my interest, but I also have a fondness for Literature, Anthropology and Sociology. On the verge of 24 and I still don't know what I want to do with my life. It's not that I lack motivation....truly, I just can't find a direct path to anything of particular interest. Every career option that has been pointed out to me has made me go "Hmmmm....perhaps, but I'm sure there is something that I would be better at." So we shall see.

The first things people usually notice about me

My glasses? That's possible. Everyone seems to love them...although, I don't know how complimented I can be when the first thing someone notices about me is more of an accessory than a feature. Not saying I feed on praise; to the contrary. I just think it's funny that the glasses are such a hit. If I didn't have to wear them...I wouldn't lol.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books:

Ask me...there is a long list...but I will say that I'm an incredibly huge fan of MST3K/Cinematic Titanic/Rifftrax.
Food:
Sushi, Peanut butter and honey sandwiches, Mac n' Cheese with Feta, Pizza, Burgers, Aged Sharp Cheddar, Waffles, Bacon...I'm spoiled, man, I'm from Madison, Wisconsin...the food here is absolutely *amazing*...it's what we're known for.

On a typical Friday night I am

Studying/doing homework or at a bar having my *one* drink...that's right, I'm not a big drinker at all. OH! Although recently I've really gotten into zombie movies. Now, I do enjoy Dawn of the Dead...maybe because it is set in Milwaukee, WI....but I recently watched Return of the Living Dead....and that, my friend, is a blast. It's like they actually boxed up the 80's! For anyone who has had the chance to see this film, the wiggly dead woman that they strap onto the table who "explains" why they eat brains...she is just delightful, lol.

I have issues staying in the same situation for too terribly long. I like to wander. I also have a bit of a temper.
