I am Creative, Unusual, and Silly.

My Self-Summary

I dunno what to say here. I guess I'm searching for an attractive, intelligent, open and caring woman to befriend, and maybe take to the next level. I suppose I would like to meet someone who possess all the standard sort of good attributes we all seek for in a person, but if I had to pick one quality it would be truth. I think it was Tennyson who said that when a man lies he murders some small part of himself and the world, and I believe that to be true. So, honesty, above all else, is what I require. Oh, and a sweet face, a nice smile, and a healthy sense of humor would be nice too! A snugglebunny. I'm not seeking some perfect goddess; I'm not perfect myself. But as I am someone who appreciates honesty, my match would have to be someone who shares that quality. They're also going to have to put up with my goofy sense of humor, my overall silliness, and a relaxed and laid-back attitude. Life is too short to be miserable. I believe that a long-lasting relationship begins with friendship, so I am someone who prefers to take things one step at a time. Things that drive me crazy are a sullen or arrogant attitude, smoking, and making me do all the work in a relationship: if you don't put forth the honest effort a relationship requires then please don't waste my time and I won't waste yours. This means actually returning calls and/or text messages, honoring agreements, and generally doing what you say you will do. It's hard to believe that I actually have to admonish people about this sort of thing, but my experience is that is the not the exception, but the rule. Please don't tell me yes when you mean no, and then get sullen when I get it 'wrong'; please don't make me sit around and guess what a problem is when you can simply tell me. Please be open and communicative. If you treat me with love, respect, and courtesy you will get it back a hundred-fold.

Feel free to reply to me for more details, or to ask questions. You can ask me anything you like. I believe in communication, and the more we chat the more better we will know each other.

Thanks for checking me out; I hope someone nice will take the time to write - I'm worth it, believe me.

What I’m doing with my life

Currently I work for the Army as an archaeologist and am going to Grad school. I also watch movies and shoot photography in my spare time. I have worked as an archaeologist for 18 years, mostly in the Middle Atlantic region. I am originally from Wilmington, Delaware, and now make my home in Newport News, Virginia. Well, I don't really make it since it is already made. Someone else made it. I just bought it. I bought it pre-made. Ok, this is getting a bit silly...

In fact, check this out: http://www.weebls-stuff.com/toons/magical+trevor/

I’m really good at

1. Archaeology/History/Historic Preservation
2. Film - as in knowing about and collecting
3. Photography
4. Italian cooking - especially seafood pasta dishes!
5. Writing - or so I've been told
6. Civilization IV - I am obsessed
7. Burning music mix cds - they still make those, don't they?
8. Sleeping - I have won the Virginia Men's Freestyle Sleeping Championship 10 years in a row...
9. Being silly - in case you haven't noticed
10. At being oddly random and randomly odd

The first things people usually notice about me

I am usually watching stinky films, quoting Monty Python, or poking someone with a stuffed animal, sometimes all at once. So yeah, people usually notice my sense of humor first.

The six things I could never do without

Family
Health
Friends

Pizza
Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies!

I spend a lot of time thinking about

my evil schemes to take over the universe...or Tastykakes. Whichever.

On a typical Friday night I am

Either writing a paper for school, watching a film, or sleeping. Sometimes all 3 at the same time.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

The magnitude of my geekitude is overwhelming.

You should message me if

You are ready for someone different, some one sweet, someone trustworthy, someone who can make a mean baked ziti or seafood pasta dish - but mostly if your ready for someone with a good sense of humor.

Oh yeah, and I like cows. A lot. But not too much, if you know what I mean.
