My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a stand up comedian and writer trying to get along in the world while working in IT for a local arm of a large unnamed business.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work doing Tech Support for an awesome company.

I have been doing Stand up Comedy several stages a week for a short time now. I was going to be more specific but I didn't want to have to update this every time it became inaccurate.

I am a Writer on my own time and dime. I've finished a children's book that is in the hands of my illustrator right now, it's about Scientific principles in astronomy. Primarily the formation of Structures in space and current theories on the history and evolution of the universe we live in up to now. I am working on a Murder mystery, and a Horror short story collection with a novella length main feature right now which I hope to finish in a few months.

I went to school for English and Philosophy, but before that Cisco Academy and software hardware certification programs while I was still in high school. I have several entrepreneurial goals, I try and think of those kind of simple genius 'I should have thought of that' inventions that you see on infomercials that you know someone made at least more than two dimes off of anyways.

I work on a Writer's Workshop podcast ( The Write Idea Workshop on iTunes, Stitcher,, and on youtube.) with my Roommate.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
working with my hands, problem solving, out of the box thinking, and general adventure.

I'm good at having a good time, putting reality in a box for a while. Though I can also immerse myself deep in whatever situations need dealt with as well.

I have a lot of technical skills, as well as an aptitude for learning. And deep thirst for knowledge.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm really not sure. Hair and eyes physically? perhaps the fact that I don't seem to care if no one is sure what I'm talking about at certain points in a ramble.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I enjoy Doctor Who(prefer the classic), Castle, Firefly, Columbo, How I met your mother (the show, I've never met your mother.), Weeds (was better in the beginning), Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, The Office, Red Dwarf, All of the Star Treks, Dexter, Arrested Development. Wilfred, 666 park avenue, Lost, Smallville, Arrow, Flash(90's and new), and Constantine.

My favorite local bands are kid stardust ( kid stardust music on SoundCloud) and Phoul Phill andt guill (also on SoundCloud).

My favorite comedians - most influential towards my own comedy - are Demetri Martin and Mitch Hedburg. But I wish to god I had the energy to be a Carlin or Bill Hicks.

I enjoy reading Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Philip K. Dick, Oscar Wilde, Mark twain, Stephen King, Dean Koontz (Tick Tock, Odd Thomas), A song of fire and Ice, The Walking Dead comics, Green Arrow, The Flash.. I like DC comics and cartoons, and Marvel movies essentially.Technical encyclopedias, and other books of pure knowledge. I've started a regimen of interjecting classic non-fiction such as political philosophy of Aristotle or Fredrich Engals and Karl Marx, The meditations of Marcus Aurelius... I find it rewarding, and separate enough from most fiction I read to read simultaneously.

I like to get my news from Democracy Now, and NPR - I love the Diane Rhem show. Also I browse pretty much as long as Rupert Murdoch didn't produce it I want to read about it. I use reddit for quick interesting articles when it serves it's purpose as well.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
0.A Stage with a Mic and crowd.
1.Internet Access

2. my fully loaded Nook. Or a physical library.
3. A way to write

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Life, humanity, society. Things like 'Why do people interact in predictable manners but are not able to tell you why' or 'how can I describe my spiritual self but still express my lack of belief in traditional spiritual or theological ideas.'.

Life is so full of questions that I could never finish this box honestly. if you want to know what I am thinking about, perhaps then you are actually considering a conversation.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Anything can happen on a Friday
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I over think every thing I type.

you are into science, or maybe politics, philosophy, or art.. history perhaps? If you have a mind and aren't afraid to use it, or share it with someone else. Let me know, let's get to know each other. Maybe we'll have a great time, maybe we'll be just fine with that.
