My self-summary
my tl;dr
'Well I'm a writer, who moved from Kentucky to Cincinnati five months ago. I work on a podcast called 'The Write Idea workshop' with an old college roommate, now neighbor. I am trying to get published within the next year. I work at a Target right now. Trying to get a job in Data entry while I get my networking certificates, and return to school after paying off what student loans I had out later this year. Plan on returning to school next fall.'

new developments
---
Prepping online to take my A+ certification which I studied for in High school so long ago. Then I think I'll get my Net+ and then my Sec+ because why not. I'm tired of working for scraps.

I am an INTJ for those to whom it would matter.
I see the world as an infinitely complex puzzle, the understanding of even the slightest bits of which lead to exponentially greater abilities of influence over the entirety. That being said the complexity is so vast, that by nature any significant influence beyond yourself and others takes significant reach and influence.

I am a writer, inventor, and very capable with my hands. my father was a doctor, and I am a Kentucky Transplant who know lives in Cincinnati. I just moved into my new apartment here in town.

I believe in the philosophy of 'Work hard, play hard.' Hopefully eventually I won't have to work so hard however haha. I also find Merits in the thin line between Stoicism and Epicurean philosophy. I try actively to maintain a healthy literary diet of fiction and non-fiction. I also try to stay in pretty good shape by walking as much as I can.. I don't drink soda, and try to cook most of my own food.

While I began writing as a budding author set on entering into the world of literary giants, I later found my niche in the exploration of amateur film making, which I have been pursuing for the last four years, with any degree of professional dedication. However since moving to Cincinnati I've taken up two new writing projects, and plan on revisiting a third when I complete these. One is a Mystery novel, the other a children's book about science. I co-host a podcast with a friend about writing workshops, mainly we talk about the world as it relates to writers, how we write... we have writing contests. We just started in November, but we are coming along. So is the writing.

I am a man who likes to keep his head in the clouds, and his feet on the ground. I'd like to find a girl who could share in the joy I take in making my life into an image reflective of my dreams, and I'd like to take joy in her own journey whatever that may be. I'm not after a specific person, I don't believe in the one and only one. But I do believe in happiness, and love. For mammals anyways.
What I’m doing with my life
I just moved to Cincinnati from Morehead, Kentucky. I have a bit of Forest back home where I am trying to be actively involved in forest management in what I feel is both a good move for myself as a person, and for the environment in an area where so often land is traded to negligent corporate entities and what not. I have taken some time off from school for the last couple years and am taking the year to work, and force myself into the world a bit while I pay off what little student loans I had to take out. I will likely return in Fall '14 at a local school and finish the last year or two of classes.

I've been writing a lot lately, I just finished a children's book about science, it's in the capable hands of my illustrator at the moment. I choose a children's book on grandiose scientific topics because I feel that science is a very important part of this upcoming generation. Though children are the future and all at present I don't think I'd want to create one personally until I have planted my feet more firmly in the world of finance, and chased down a few dreams of mine.

I am trying to finish up an Philosophy and English literature double major. Afterwards I have some business ideas I will be working on the capital and portfolios for. I am strongly considering calling it a redo and going with a hard science where I have my passions. Though I plan to work outside of my degree largely with some self-financed business plans.
I’m really good at
working with my hands, problem solving, out of the box thinking, and general adventure.

I'm good at having a good time, putting reality in a box for a while. Though I can also immerse myself deep in whatever situations need dealt with as well.

I have a lot of technical skills, as well as an aptitude for learning. And deep thirst for knowledge.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm not really sure about that one. I suppose the value I place on intellect... or the how much of a good time I'm having. Depending on when and where... all of that jazz.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I enjoy Doctor Who(prefer the classic), Castle, Firefly, How I met your mother (the show, I've never met your mother.), Weeds (was better in the beginning), Breaking Bad, Walking Dead (used to see the writer at local cons until he hit it big.), The Office, Red Dwarf, All of the Star Treks, Dexter, Arrested Development. Wilfred, 666 park avenue, Lost, Smallville, Arrow.

I like to listen to Andrew Jackson Jihad, Old Crow Medicine Show, Childish Gambino, Mumford and sons, Champagne Champagne, Weezer, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Third Eye Blind, System of a Down, Tool, Drop Kick Murphies, Flobots, Immortal technique, Modest Mouse, Linkin Park, Parliment, Red Hot Chili peppers, Foo Fighters, Public enemy, The White Stripes, Vampire Weekend, Wolf Mother, The beetles, The Doors.

I enjoy reading Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Philip K. Dick, Oscar Wilde, Mark twain, Stephen King, A song of fire and Ice, The Walking Dead comics, Green Arrow, The Flash.. I like DC comics and cartoons, and Marvel movies essentially.Technical encyclopedias, and other books of pure knowledge. I've started a regimen of interjecting classic non-fiction such as political philosophy of Aristotle or Fredrich Engals and Karl Marx, The meditations of Marcus Aurelius... I find it rewarding, and separate enough from most fiction I read to read simultaneously. I'll fill this one out in more detail later.

I like to get my news from Democracy Now, and NPR - I love the Diane Rhem show. Also I browse News.google.com pretty much as long as Rupert Murdoch didn't produce it I want to read about it. I use reddit for quick interesting articles when it serves it's purpose as well.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life, humanity, society. Things like 'Why do people interact in predictable manners but are not able to tell you why' or 'how can I describe my spiritual self but still express my lack of belief in traditional spiritual or theological ideas.'.

Life is so full of questions that I could never finish this box honestly. if you want to know what I am thinking about, perhaps then you are actually considering a conversation.
On a typical Friday night I am
Time to change this up a bit. Updating the profile, it's been a moment. Friday nights are for enjoying. I could be inside catching up on a newly admired TV series, or out at the bar with friends. I'm just as happy to drink in sharing laughs over a game of Munchkin, as I am to go camping, or hiking; I've never done Karaoke, but I don't see why I wouldn't want too. I really am a big fan of life, I want to try it all at least once.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That I have no idea what I would say here.

you are into science, or maybe politics, philosophy, or art.. history perhaps? If you have a mind and aren't afraid to use it, or share it with someone else. Let me know, let's get to know each other. Maybe we'll have a great time, maybe we'll be just fine with that.
