My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey! I'm a single geeky dude from Northern Michigan, that now lives in Southern Michigan and may want to date you (?) I'm looking for a fellow nerd, so if your only interests are sports and mud bogging, we're not gonna have a good time, no offense.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
living the retail dream, when I was six, I only wanted three jobs, I wanted to work in a video rental store, a comic book store and be a Ninja Turtle. I'm 2/3rd of the way there.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I've been told I'm funny, but it think it's more likely that I try to be funny so often that I get pity laughs.

Oh and I'm pretty good at reaching the top shelves.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a tall guy, kinda hairy. (been likened to a Sasquatch on a few occasions).

I also think my eyes are adorable, even I get lost in them sometimes.

I love Film, I'm big into classics and good modern stuff.

Kevin Smith is my hero. I try to go see him speak whenever he's in Michigan.

My all time favorite movie would have to be "Chasing Amy".
Honestly, when it comes to movies, I've either seen it, heard about it, or have a reason why I'm not going to watch it (I just don't like Tim Burton at all outside of Big Fish, there I said it).

Here's just a random collection of some of my favorite films: Chasing Amy, 500 Days of Summer, Perfect Blue, Inglorious Basterds ( yes spell-check, that's wrong, blame Tarantino), My Neighbor Totoro, The Decent, Citizen Kane, Observe and Report, Shaun of the Dead, Scott Pilgrim vs the World (for those keeping score that is two Edgar Wright movies in a row), Stranger Then Fiction, Juno, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Red State, Snowpiercer, Drive, Moonrise Kingdom, and many many more.

If I had to make a list of favorite Film makers: Kevin Smith, Quentin Tarantino, Edgar Wright, Cameron Crow, Wes Anderson, Danny Boyle and Satoshi Kon
My favorite currently running shows would have to be Game of Thrones, Community, Brooklyn Nine Nine, It's Always Sunny in Philly, Comic Book Men, Rick and Morty, The Venture Brothers, South Park, Parks and Rec. Canceled/ended shows that I love(d), Scrubs, Arrested Development, Clerks the Cartoon, Spaced, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Bored to Death.

I can't stand reality TV(Minus Comic book men because, Kevin Smith) or those Law and Order and CSI things, ugh.

Music wise I'm all over the place. I love, From Autumn to Ashes (and any of Francis Mark's Side projects ). I'm also into Ben Folds, Queen, Weezer, Bear Vs Shark, Bars of Gold, Boy Hits Car ,The Killers, Mewithoutyou. I'm not really into Country or Rap (outside of Nerdcore).

Books: I guess in an attempt to make myself even MORE socially awkward, I am really into comic books! I work at a Comic Store in Lansing, If that doesn't scare you away, I read a lot of Image and Marvel ( The Spider-Man/ X-Men sides of it anyway), I also love the Scott Pilgrim Series with every fiber of my being.

I do actually read some real books too. I've been making an effort to read readthe classics that I didn't read growing up
Some My favorite things I've read in recent years would have to be: Game Of Thrones(Minus any chapter about Dani as She's the worst), Battle Royal, , Welcome to the NHK, 1984 and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

Mostly my future. I wonder a lot about what I'm going to do, I don't necessarily want to be rich, I just want to be happy.
On a typical Friday night I am

Home watching a movie. Down town playing Heroclix Or work, but more then likely work.
