My self-summary
I'm a product of a Native American father and an Irish/Italian mother. This means I love Italian food, know whats at the end of the rainbow, and can tame a wild horse with ease. I have one sibling, an older sister, who is always there for me no matter what.

I currently reside in a two family apartment house with a roommate, I'm also animal friendly as I own two cats - but primarily because dogs are not allowed. I would love to own a retriever someday. I've lived independently since the age of 18.

In social settings I'm the type of guy who enjoys bringing people together, likes making people happy, and knows how to keep my cool in intense situations. I'm also not afraid to tear up a dance floor in public, so much so that once I get started, I kind of have difficulty stopping. I'm always game for a trip NYC.

Hobbies include some decent photography (www.flickr.com/fanelite), Hiking (Harriman is my favorite spot). I have interests in writing, drawing, painting but my skills in those need some work. I hate wasting time. Cooking is also something I'm learning how to do better. My menu keeps growing!

Athletic-wise I only participate in a church softball league and occasionally a bowling league. I'm not competitive in nature. Ask me sports questions and the only thing you'll hear are crickets. I can watch a game here and there but I don't follow any team or player stats like it's my job. I'm not on their payroll so why the hell should it matter.

I've never travelled outside of the US or Canada, so I'm aiming to go global every year for the next couple of years with some vacations. Europe, Australia, Carribean are all in my sights. If you have any suggestions of good places to visit, feel free to break the ice with some suggestions.
What I’m doing with my life
For work I make an honest living as a full time customer service manager since 2007, but have been working with the same company since 2001. For 3 years I worked as a veterinary technician full time, but the pay wasn't right. For a side job, in which I make no request of charge, I do odd jobs for people in need (mostly elderly). Working in customer service has made me more and more patient and understanding about how people function, and I can put up with a lot before I even start to get irritated. Sometimes I work 6 days a week to get that extra OT, and it isn't always so bad - but who doesn't have mixed feelings about their jobs?

I'm looking for a possible night job as a driver or bartender.

I have a personal business (idea) that still needs a lot more work before I can launch it.

As far schooling is concerned, I have a semester and a half (of community college) under my belt that I earned back in 2003. I had to focus on finding full time work since I wanted to live on my own, so I kind of put education on the back burner. But don't let my lack of education concern you, I make up for it with what I've learned living on my own so early.

Pretty much right now my main focus in life is to just improve on it. Improving my photography skills to possibly make it my career, and getting ready for the overall future is at the top of that list. I understand those things usually occur earlier on in life, but better late than never right?

-inducing laughter through shameless acts and self-deprication.
-Helping people out if they need it, particularly the elderly.
-listening
-giving logical advice (that you may or may not follow)
-telling the truth. do we call this "tough love"
The first things people usually notice about me
My friendliness or my laughter
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Reading isn't my strong point. I mean, I can read, but getting/setting the time to read is rare.

The last book I actually read and finished were: Assholes Finish First by Tucker Max, and am currently reading World War Z by Max Brooks. I also have an affinity for books written by drug abusers who have since sobered up like Tweaked, or A Million Tiny Pieces, both of which I didn't finish.

Movies:
The Way, I Melt With You, 50/50, Rules of Attraction, Wristcutters: A Love Story, Enter The Void, Aliens, Die Hard, Hackers, Last of The Mohicans, Braveheart, Life as a House, Inception, Stay, Lost Boys,

Let's be real here, I like ALOT of movies, and I'm not about to list them all, but I mostly follow Psychological Thrillers, Sci-Fi/Horror/Action, Drama genres. Theaters are reserved for movies with great cinematic effects, not for comedies.

TV Shows: I DVR everything and watch them when I can because I don't let TV stop me from doing anything since LOST ended.
The Walking Dead, Modern Family, Glee, Criminal Minds, How I Met Your Mother, Two and a Half Men, Big Bang Theory, Outsourced, Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Hawaii Five-O, Jersey Shore, CSI

My music preference bounces around the board, but I try to stay away from Country and can appreciate some Rap. Growing up with an older sister has made me very pop aware, so the iPod can cater to all. Some current artists in heavy rotation include: atomic tom, a silent film, local natives, mumford & sons, david guetta, taking back sunday, jimmy eat world, Anberlin

I'm a foodie. I'll eat anything (with the exception of spicy foods). Standards of living: Italian, Chinese, American, Mexican/Spanish. I have yet to experience Thai, Indian, or other European foods, perhaps you have a recommendation.
The six things I could never do without
1. Stimulation of any kind.
2. Good friends.
3. My mom's baked ziti.
4. Free thought.
5. a Jeep in my life.
6. Memories. Good or Bad.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
the next step, or life on an endless road trip.
On a typical Friday night I am
hanging out with friends, occasionally hitting up the bar scene maybe every other weekend.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'll admit to anything given the right questioning.
