My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
And now the inevitable "I" statement. How would you like it?
A list?
I like... Music that makes things move, movies I have to read, books and poems that take me places, places I have to go to.
More succinct?
I like... Giggles, ripples, cold water, and Juicy Fruit. Making fun by letting good things happen, and hearing how it all worked out. Fix'n Shit, do'n stuff, and making wishes when the clock repeats itself.
I like thinking, but not as much as watching people think.
I like to listen to everyone's stories.
I probably like to go on and on about mine far too often.
But I like to think I'm learning to shut up.
I am...
A verb, or better put... something that conveys an action. Fluid, ever becoming, in a constantly evolving state of "To Be". I am a clown, a fool, confident, curious, and often clumsy.
I know an awful lot about allot of things. But mostly nothing in the Big Scheme of things.

I'm in awe of how we all put up our images, specifics, as well as preferences and boundaries. And some how make connections. Some that could be pretty heavy. Some seem to have allot of weight and expectations attached. Most folks here just seem to want to reach outside of themselves. I like the idea of that.

I'm looking for someone who is strong, smart, honest and silly. Someone who isn't afraid to say or act on how they feel or think. Someone who desires to woefully and wonderfully get in the thick of it. And be inspired by the fantastically beautiful mess's that get made while doing so. I'm looking for someone who can laugh about what they've done. And be excited with what they do. Even if what they're doing now is just picking up pretty pebbles on the path to the next place.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Living it? Duh.
Ok... Post the Great recession of Ought Six. I found myself floundering. So, I've regrouped and found a descent paying Job, with enough time to dabble into my more artsy passions, take lots of Yoga class's, and guide my kids while they discover their own forms of bliss.
In the spaces in between...
Making my kitchen walls into a chalk board canvas.
Remembering how much I like to cook.
Figuring out how to do more with less ( I get ALLOT on barter).
Realizing how wonderful a little silence can be.
And watching Progress, kick the tar out of Perfection, on a daily basis.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Many things I don't need to know. Only a few things that I ought to know. And a smattering of wonder and nonsense in between. Also... People tell me things. Crazy things, Cool things, Sad and Bad things. It's a blessid curse. I don't know that it makes me a good listener, but it sure does humble me from time to time.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Story Time... A little over a year ago I was happily playing in a Punk band called Badgermen. After one particular show, a rather crusty punk came up to me and said... "You got up on stage with yer grey hair and I thought, 'That guy looks like my dad.' but when you started playing I was WISHING my dad rocked like that! I don't know if you were Scaring me or Daring me man, but I liked it!"

m.o.t.s. First impressions don't often fit me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Way too many so I'll pick a few of each.

Stories- Zone One, by Colson Whitehead. The Mahabharata, by some Hindu People a long time ago. The Cartoon History of the Universe, by Larry Gonick.

Verses- Sexton, Akhmatova, Brautigan.

Film- 81/2, Delicatessen, 50 First Dates, ( Its just so sweet! When they stay up all night in the aquarium! And when Rob Schnider gets all beet up! And the sail boat in Alaska with their little daughter watching the video! And Grandpas visiting! And Iz singing What a Wonderful World at the end!)

tv- don't watch much any more. It's all kinda the same. Some can be cool for a bit. But then they chop Ned Starks head off, Peter says something stupid, they find out the Island is the after life, or isn't... 30 rock is cool.
...is Portlandia a tv show?

Tunes- Tom Waits, Polly Jean Harvey, The Breeders. (really... way too much to list here, lets get together and chat about it, fight about it, blog about it and cry)

Nosh- Sweet, Savory, Hot, Cold, Crisp, Smooth, Spicy, Butter.

Basically someone who's really getting off while making Any Thing! Makes for a good Everything!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The girl child
The boy child
(With no particular order and mutual preference for both. They are just pretty awesome people, and I feel better about the world knowing they are in it.)

Feeling good from... Alone time, together time, a walk with a friend, a chat with a lover, growing from mistakes, spyro-graphic conversations, learning cool stuff, a work out you tried to skip, making and consuming good food, finding the right thrift store thing, "WOW" sex.

Exspresive Art... Visual, Performance, Conseptual, Multi-Dimentional, Musical-Making, hearing, seeing, being in the presence of.

Water... Bathing in, playing in, just plane ol' looking at.

Good friends good fortune.

The word, act, and concept of... "Yes"
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Hopes, Dreams, Illusions...
Why everything these days seems like a big long never ending banaly vauge overly descriptive list or run on sentence about nothing in particular with pour spelling and worse; Punctuation?
... And spelling errors. ( I'm rather Dyslexic. )
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
A-typical. I change them up every week or so.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I sleep on a bed frame once owned by a dead friend.
