My self-summary
Let’s start with the bottom line….I'd like to meet a down-to-earth sweetheart who will one day be crazy for me. Are you out there?! For hobbies and interests I do a lot, and I hope you do too...that way we can share. I'm not up for writing a long profile, as I'd rather talk or email with you so we can have some sort of conversation and decide if we want to meet....that's the way it was before the internet! But for those of you looking to evaluate my brain-pan, here's some material that I've thought about…

I'm about as honest as they come...you won't be guessing about what is going on in my head. You’ll probably have to break a few notions you might have of the dating scene in order to keep my interest though. For example, I’ll call you because I like you, not because it’s been 2.4 days. Also, you’ll have to be comfortable if I like you first while we get to know each other…you’d want me to be that way if it were reversed. Life is complicated enough, and I (and men) don’t guess well, so my actions speak clear, and so should yours. Life is full of disappointments, I get that, but if you’re on the sidelines worried about your feelings being hurt again, or afraid to put yourself back in the scene, maybe you’ll realize soon that unless you jump in with no restrictions (or very few to hold you back), opportunities are passing by. Not every meeting will be fireworks, but slow starts work just as well in the end. Now not every meeting will result in ‘the match’, but it won’t ever happen if you don’t create some opportunity. The cliché phrase of ‘just let things happen’ only carries you so far…in the end, it is a choice to fall for someone and stop looking. And on that subject, I believe there are many ‘ones’, we only need to meet one of them. So let’s get started.
