My self-summary
I'm an aspiring author, although writing is even harder to accomplish than it sounds. And since trying to be an author doesn't pay much, I also work in the tech industry.

I enjoy all kinds of nerdy things, like playing games on steam, card games, or tabletop rpgs. I also like going out for a drink with my friends and playing pool, darts, or poker.
What I’m doing with my life
I work in the tech industry. My job can be a bit difficult to describe, so I pull a Barney Stinson whenever possible.

I also work on about a dozen different hobbies such as wiriting stories, designing games, and searching for the next great adventure.
I’m really good at
Writing, math, cooking, drinking, debate (the professional arguing!), fixing computers.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably that I speak my mind. Sometimes I'm a bit rude, sometimes I'm really caring, but it's always honest.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
For someone trying to be a writer, I admit I'm not much of a reader. I've read most of the super popular stuff that has come out in the last ten years (Harry Potter, Hunger Games, etc.) but the only series I really love is A Song of Ice and Fire.

I will always watch a comedy, but my favorite movies are all intriguing, nerdy, or both. Serenity, Fight Club, Snatch, Inception, Scott Pilgrim vs the World, and Pulp Fiction to name a few.

I watch a lot of stuff on Netflix. Classics like Arrested Development, Firefly and Galactica, but also It's Always Sunny, Archer, and Portlandia. I take particular care to stay up to date on Game of Thrones and The Doctor.

I mostly listen to various strains of alt rock, notably punk and grunge.

I eat a lot of steak, due to years of working in a steakhouse, but sushi is my one true love.
The six things I could never do without
The Internet, to satisfy my curiosity.
My motorcycle. Four wheels move the body, but two wheels move the soul.
A good chef's knife, for cooking.
Coffee. No explanation here.
A tape measure.
A good pair of chucks.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Potential story lines I would like to write about, interesting characters, and pretty girls.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually at my local, shady, run-down pool hall. I love the place.
You should message me if
You're fun to hang out with.
