My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I was up for a job a while back and they asked me to take a personality test. The results showed that I am introverted, lack respect for social codes, have poor impulse control, and a high tendency for risk taking. Sounds about right.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've lived in DC since my late teens, with a couple breaks here and there. I'm just starting a job at a nonprofit downtown. Outside of work I'm working on a novel and baking beautiful bread.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Falling without injury. I can also keep a computer running with bubblegum and a shoestring. Okay, that's a slight exaggeration, but not by a whole lot.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I have been carrying around the same beat up copy of On the Road since I was 12. There has been significant debate as to whether having Jack Kerouac as my tween years hero warped me or if it was just a symptom of my innate twisted traits.

Other books, in no particular order: Lolita, the God of Small Things, the House of the Spirits, and Love in the Time of Cholera. I'm into distinct writing styles. I also love my Dictionary of the Occult and the crazy writing inspiration it provides.

My attention span isn't that long so I don't watch a lot of movies, but whenever I'm sick I watch Terminator 2 or Lilo and Stitch. There's something about engines of destruction bonding with children that I seem to find soothing.

I could eat curry for every meal, but I'm terrible at cooking it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Coffee is the only thing I really have trouble doing without. I love my coffee.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I like to write, so I'm usually trying to work out some sort of plot problem and make sense of my thoughts.
