Been in Austin for several years, and I just recently moved back to Dallas. Looking for fun with new friends. A little romance would be great too. Always interested in meeting new people. Would love to meet more like minded people. I want to meet someone for the long term at this point in my life. I don't have a long list of demands and I don't treat dating like a job interview. I am looking for passion and someone who genuinely digs me. I'm not scared to meet for drinks, coffee, a walk, bike ride, movie, or a show. I AM DOWN to meet new people here. I am just looking for friends mostly, so no pressure. If things would be great for romance then I'm sure we'll know about it.

Well I'm gradually putting down roots in Dallas. I have started working for a catering company downtown. It is cool at the moment because it is so flexible. I can take some time to plan a trip here or a camping trip there. I took some American sign language courses in Austin, and hope to be involved with the deaf community in Dallas. I intend to get back into some classes. In general, just trying to make Dallas more friendly and fun than I remember it being. Editing my life and allowing some breathing room and plenty of consideration as to what I really want in it. But with that said, it's coming along nicely and I'm ready to meet someone who wants to go to shows, maybe take up a new hobby together or join a nature meetup group. I'm artsy so it would be nice to have someone that can mesh with my impulsive visual sometimes spacey mind.

Well I'm a positive person. I'm a good listener and can talk in depth about areas that interest me, or learning about something new from someone else's passionate perspective. Meeting people of all types interests me as long as they are genuine and not putting up a front or an image. I am very generous and loyal in my close circles. I am a visual person and a bit of an organizer. I take pride in my tomato plants when I have the garden growing. I can talk to cats. Mentally and verbally. I'm sure there is more but I am sure writing paragraphs about my strengths is not my favorite thing to do.

I love old punk, trip-hop, The Magnetic Fields, Air, Massive Attack, Misfits, Luna, Beach house, Butthole Surfers, James Brown, Aftobeats, El Michels Affair, Mike Patton, and many many others.....I tend to like music for the music not the lyrics or the "amazing voice" type. I like music that gives me goosebumps and takes me away with a "characteristic sound". Makes sense to me anyway.
Similarly, I like escapist reading material.
Kurt Vonnegut, Chuck Palahniuk, Philip K. Dick, Douglas Coupland, Patrick Rothfuss, Robin Robb, Sci-Fi, Fantasy....
Movies; Werner Herzog's Nosferatu, Jan Svankmejer's Alice (or anything by him or in the weird stop motion animation category), until the end of the world, 2001 Space Odyssey, The Holy Mountain, Big Lebowski, Basquiat, Pete's dragon, Rushmore, Tennenbaums, life aquatic, the gangster movies, heist films, epic period pieces, and witty dialog movies.... breaking bad, walking dead. I also have over 60 hours of David Attenborough that is usually playing in the background.

I love my veggies but not quite a vegetarian. I love Thai food. Too bad Nandina's sucks now. But I have a new place for my favorite green papaya salad. I like my food too spicy for most people. I put Sriracha on just about everything at home. But love to go out for Pho, Veitnamese Bahn Mi sandwiches. I don't eat ground beef. I do like turkey burgers. If I find something that really hits the spot I can be on a kick for a couple of weeks, with the same food. I'm actually like that with a lot of stuff. If I like it I am a devout and loyal fan.
