My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love science, music, psychology and film.

"The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance."

I love discussions. I love to get to know people and hear ideas, stories, view points that differ from my own. To shed light in a dark corner of a subject matter allows you to grow your perspective on how people and the world work. All I ask for is for you to just talk to me... I'll listen.

I'll also listen to NPR.

I was born in Brazil (so I'm Latin).

I think like an idealist but I act like a pragmatist. Big ideas, small ways to get to them. I love others who also have hope for a better way.

I want to give my life away to the pursuit of helping people becoming happier versions of themselves.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I graduated from OSU with a B.A. in Psychology in December, 2012.

I work as a treatment assistant at an alcohol and drug rehab center where I assist the clients with their recovery and facilitate some groups when I get the chance.

I've been a volunteer at suicide prevention services for almost 4 years.

I have my CDCA licensure, so I am also a trained chemical dependency counselor.

I'm applying to grad school to get a Masters in Psychology, more specifically, an LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor). I'm still debating on whether or not I'll go for the PhD.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Dancing like I think I know how (I don't).
- Helping people.
- Listening (I work in the mental health field, it comes with the territory)
- Finding something to talk about.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My hair and enthusiasm.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
An artistic outlet
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Music, family, friends, art, life, film, love, the future and what the most important thing that I should be doing right now... Honestly, entirely too many things. I'm plagued by over thinking!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends and trying to find something fun to do. Sometimes that might be going to a bar, going out to eat, going to somebodies house, seeing a movie, seeing a show, walking around town... depends on how the night feels. I'm perfectly content sitting at home and having a relaxing evening though.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Ask me ANYTHING and I'll let you know the answer...
