My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I consider myself to be thoughtful, independent, loyal, fun and giving. Others often tell me I'm outgoing, trustworthy, smart and understanding. I value all of these attributes and look for the same in others.

I enjoy dance/fitness, the great outdoors, dining out, Bay Area sports, and enhancing/improving my career interests. I will admit I stay pretty busy as a result, but there is always time for new friends and adventures.

I have experienced a lot in my life but know there are many more awesome experiences to be had. Life is crazy, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I am far from perfect, but strive to be the best person I can be by learning from what life brings everyday. Bring. It. On. I certainly didn't become who I am today by taking the easy road, and I am a better person for it.

I am a bit of a living dichotomy (not just because I'm a Gemini). I can be the ultimate girly girl but also the girl next door. I clean up well but also love just hanging out watching the game. And by "girl", I do mean woman...

Oh and my favorite color? Orange! (And yes, I bleed it!)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
In short, I'm still looking for my bliss. My life is great; but I still believe ultimate bliss is obtainable.

Work life consists of marketing which I initially got into it because of the design/creative aspects (as opposed to the sales side). I don't think my work defines me, but I do actually enjoy it - even when it's stressful.

I used to work crazy hours and am now learning how important it is to make more time for myself. It's been a bit of rediscovering of my existence and it's been both an interesting and fun experience. I have learned a lot about myself the last few years and I am looking forward to seeing how the next chapter unfolds. I'm always living and learning.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
The details. I'm kind of a neat freak, I notice the small stuff. Would that make me a little OCD? Yeah maybe a little, but in a good, healthy way...if there is such a thing? ;)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My friendly nature. I am easy to talk to, enjoy good conversation and overall interested in what people have to say. I generally have no problem talking to people I don't know, take that for whatever it's worth.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I have vowed to myself to read more for fun. No real favorites, but I enjoy fiction and biographies.

Movies, I'm THAT person at the theater who will laugh out loud, cry, jump, cover my eyes. Movies are definitely made with me in mind, as the ultimate audience.

Music, I love feel good music, particularly music that I can sing and dance to. (Even in/especially in the car!) I love live music, it's good for the soul.

Shows/TV, I find that I like crime/spy dramas best, but do enjoy the occasional silly sitcom for pure comedic value. I watch sports more often than not though.

Food, I can't say enough about it! I truly wish sometimes that I didn't get hungry. There isn't much I don't like. Luckily (or unluckily?) most of my friends are not picky eaters!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Lip balm
Good food
Sleeping in my comfy bed.

Mad props if you noticed the last one ended with a period, it is a statement. I know some people say "sleep is for when you're dead". I'm not one of those people. I get pretty cranky when I don't get enough of it. I just like and enjoy my sleep.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How massive this world is and how we're all merely a blip on the radar. So having said that, I do try to enjoy life to the fullest as much as I can. No regrets...Yolo...however you want to put it.

I do tend to multi-task quite a bit so I rarely am thinking about one thing at a time. (I am a woman after all.)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I usually don't do much on Friday nights as I am usually pretty wiped from the work week; at the same time though there is always a reason to do something crazy/fun/spontaneous/unexpected.

Happy hour and good food with awesome friends and colleagues is most standard.

If a Bay Area sports team is playing though, I'm usually watching the game somewhere (or at least following on my mobile device). As I said, I'm a bit of a Bay Area sport fanatic.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Not sure if it's "private" really, but I like "cute" things. Makes the girly girl in me more evident for sure, but it could also be because I'm Japanese? Hmmm. I'm definitely young at heart which can be off-putting at first, but people tend to love me for it after awhile. ;)
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
I am constantly amazed how hard it is to meet new, genuine people. I've found most people are too busy with their own agenda to really engage anymore. It's really disappointing. Are you like "most people"? I challenge you to prove me wrong.

I'm looking for someone who is confident, doesn't take themselves too seriously, lives in the moment, and yet can appreciate that same moment for what it is.

Life is too short for indecisiveness, selfish behavior and drama. "I ain't got no time for that!"

If any of this resonates, feel free to send me a note.

PS. Doesn't hurt either if you can watch an entire baseball game with me ;) I love my Giants!
