I was born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, but I really like to Live Free or Die and have been in NH since 2011! I like it up here mostly, but the insane amounts of snow send me into Flatlander Panic.

I have a full-time job workin' for The Man, and somehow I am succeeding at being an adult and living on my own.

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in New Media, which has nothing to do with my job, but at least I am college-debt-free! WINNING.

Odd video games. THE INTERNET. Being awkward. Graphic design. Knowing a lot about useless or esoteric topics. Navigating long road trips. As evidenced by my "Favorites" list below, I am very good at making sweeping generalizations. People tell me I am a good writer, though this thrown-together profile does not show off that particular talent!

I am usually wearing outrageous shoes.

Books: Anything by Chuck Palahniuk, Gregory Maguire, Dan Brown, Michael Pollan, Alan Moore. Also, the Ender Saga & the Harry Potter series.

Movies: Anything by Quentin Tarantino, Mel Brooks, Tim Burton, John Waters, or Focus Features. Also, Star Wars OT and Back to the Future.

Shows: The Simpsons, South Park, American Dad, Futurama, Family Guy (notice a trend?), Seinfeld. The only show I actually keep up to date with is Game of Thrones.

Music: I consider myself pretty eclectic, and I'm always interested to hear something new, though I listen to a lot of things that are at least 20 years old. I haven't found too many radio stations up here yet that I like and get reception for, so I end up switching between classic rock and top 40 in the car, figure that out. I do have a thing for controversial androgynous solo artists, i.e. David Bowie or Michael Jackson.

Food: I pretty much always have a craving for sushi or Mexican food. I also like Indian food a lot. I do like to cook, and I used to have a food blog, but I don't cook as often as I should anymore!

Caffeine, cats, internet access, video games, sarcasm, primetime adult cartoons.
