I'd reckon the best way to describe me is non-mainstream as I tend to think outside the square on a lot of things. For the first 40 years of my life I was various degrees of fat and now I'm very much into finess and nutrition, so ideally I'd be looking at meeting someone with a similar mindset. I'm obsessed with little known US heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold, who I love so much I went to Singapore to see in concert (they were amazing, although the venue wasn't the best). I don't drink much and haven't been drunk for about 20 years. I'm against discrimination of any kind and I have got no time for racists. I love watching a wide range of sports and have done since I was around 14.
What I’m doing with my life
I guess I'm in a bit of a rebuiling phase after many years of paying child support recently ended. Although my kids are all older, they still come over every second weekend to use my Internet connection ;-) Also as my brother has suffered from schizophrenia for many years I need to give my family support as well as my parents are getting older and they can do without the stress. As I said before I'm right into fitness and do 4-5 sessions per week as I love the way you feel after a good workout.
I’m really good at
being me, I do it better than anyone :-)
The first things people usually notice about me
I take pretty good care of myself as I'm in pretty good nick for my age.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Like sci-fi and mysteries, some self improvement books, get the paper every day and read it at lunch time, I know very low tech....
Movies, as above and also love comedies, was into Monty Python in my youth. Red Dwarf, Psych, Blackadder, Young Ones, Fawlty Towers, Modern Family, yada yada yada. Grew up on Dr Who and loving the latest serieses (whatever the plural of series is). I've become a big fan of If You Are the One.
Music, apart from A7X, I like P!nk (who I saw a few years ago...awesome) to Guns N Roses (who I saw a while ago...also awesome), Pink Floyd, saw Roger Waters - The Wall in Melbourne spectactular, Led Zep and Deep Purple in my youth, and how could I forget Jimi Hendrix, the greatest ever. Also Good Charlotte, I saw the Madden Brothers in 2013 and they were great.
As far as food goes anything that is tasty, preferably spicy, curries, stir fries. Kept busy cooking for the boys when they come over and don't get too many complaints. For myself, am organised bachelor, and cook a mammoth amount once a fortnight and freeze so can take to work, I'm too bad a cook if I may say so....
