My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
*Note: So because of the way the mobile app works, OkCupid shows me as online almost all the time. Chances are, I am not actively browsing.*

I received two Bachelor of Science degrees in two fields related to IT work, and am working in the Bellevue area as an IT integration specialist. I should point out I'm originally from Pennsylvania and moved here June 2011 after school for my job.

I can be witty, clever, cynical, altruistic, idealistic, and more. As exciting as I'm sure that sounds, I'm pretty down to earth. I'm polite when I need to be, but depending on the subject I can be very outspoken (politics, religion, etc.). They say talk is cheap though, I do better in person. It's so much better and more fun to get to know someone that way.

I like nerdy things. Star Wars, Star Trek, A Song of Ice and Fire, Firefly, video games, Dungeons & Dragons, etc. Isn't that awesome?

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Having just completed my degrees, I'm starting work at a great company with a good pay. Just living life, working, and enjoying myself. We'll see what comes next.

I'm trying to force myself to pick up the guitar again. Have had one for 6 years and can't play very well. Starting from square one!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making friends, adapting to new situations, being independent, and finding logical solutions to problems.

I've found I always have a way to connect to someone about something. For some reason I relate to people easily so I've been described as very personable.

Probably my teeth. I've been told I have a nice smile, and my cuspids (canines) are kinda pointy. My eyes are said to be nice, but I'll leave that up to you.

I'm a nerd. I have to admit.
I love Star Wars, the movies, books, etc. I also enjoy fantasy novels, just got into A Song of Ice and Fire series. Good stuff. I used to like Dan Brown until I realized all his books follow the same plot outline. Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy too, but I've only read the first book. I'll get to the rest eventually. I don't read nearly enough intellectual books as I should, need to work on that. I have Stephen Hawking's 'The Grand Design' but haven't gotten around to finishing it.

I love any kind of movie really, but it has to be better than the predictable average action drama we see so much of. Horror movies can be fun.

With the power of Netflix and HuluPlus I am constantly streaming TV show episodes (every episode of X-Files!) and don't need cable now a days. BUT I like Firefly, Game of Thrones, IT Crow, The Office, Family Guy, American Dad, House, Gundam, and some other stuff.

I want to say I have a variety of musical tastes but it mostly centers around rock, older metal, things like that. I have some tangents, but too much to describe here.

WARNING: I am prone to randomly listening to Eiffel 65

For food, if it's edible I'm going to eat it. I'm not sure I have a favorite food.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Buffalo sauce
2. The Internet
3. Showers
4. Books
5. Bacon
6. Sleep

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Future of the Human Race
Where will I be in 20 years?
What do I need to do next at work?
What's fun to do this weekend?

Been thinking a lot about snowboarding lately. One of my favorite hobbies and the season is coming up. Can't wait to hit the slopes with (hopefully) fresh powder. Season pass for Snoqualmie should keep me happy.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out with friends, perhaps having a couple drinks, watching a movie, sleeping (...). Really it seems Saturday is the day I do more things.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't like it when girls wear red lipstick. I'm not sure why, but I just think it looks odd. Shrug. *Okay I need to amend this, there are times when some girls can make red lipstick work. Case by case basis I guess*

Oh come now, we both know women rarely message men.

Though if you are sex-positive and are cool with monogamy that would be pretty sweet.
