***UPDATE*** So I just found out that I have been accepted to a teaching fellowship in Tanzania, and am moving back to Africa in June. Therefore, if you are looking for a cool dude to make out with, talk about the solar system, Lord of the Rings or traveling, or eat good food with, I am your man. However, I am not your man for anything more serious than that. Unless you want to move to Tanzania with me.

I'm a high school history teacher. I want you to go ahead and visualize that for a second.

Making people feel good, smile and/or laugh.

Most people say my smile and my positive energy. Then other people say my ass.

I like reading: fantasy, non-fiction, self-improvement, geography books, and classic literature. Recently read books include - A Walk in the Woods, Into Thin Air, I Rigoberta Menchu: An Indian Woman in Guatemala, Treasure Island, Power of One, Slaughterhouse Five, Around the World in 80 Days, Count of Monte Cristo, The Road, Jungle Book, The Warlord Chronicles by Benard Cornwell, Adventures of Tom Sawyer, The Hobbit, Life of Pi

I like watching: drama and comedy, and any other movie that has thought put into it. My Top 6 are (in no order): American Beauty, American History X, Let the Right One In, Forrest Gump, Do the Right Thing, and the LOTR trilogy (counts as one movie!).

I like listening to: A WHOLE bunch of things. I grew up in the hardcore/punk scene though. Music is super important to me. It isn't just something you hear, it is something you feel and learn from, too! Lately, I have been listening to metal (death, black, folk), hardcore, punk, Chicago blues, Jazz, classic rock, and Motown.

I like eating: EVERYTHING (as long as it is vegetarian or vegan). I am always down to eat. It's disgusting, really. I also love to cook, and think that is mega fun to do together, as a date night type of thing!

There is no typical Friday night, duh! That's what makes it Friday night!

I admit most anything, which is why this question is so hard.

I want a girl that can talk about the big picture in the world, that wants to do good things, and that wants to see and learn everything she can. I want a girl that understands how easy it is to be free, to drop everything and go just because you want to. Fear is for the weak.

I have recently moved "being really smart and interested in academic or learning endeavors" high on my list, too. I really can't stand the feeling of being so interested in learning and being with a girl who doesn't have the same thirst for knowledge.
