My self-summary
I'm an aspiring writer, a huge video game geek, and a bit of a book nut. I graduated from Troy University in December 2012 with a B.A. in English and a minor in Creative Writing and and I'm hoping to attend graduate school in the Fall.

Ideally, I'd like to be either a writer on a professional level; I feel being a staff writer for someone like Wizards of the Coast or Paizo would be an absolute dream. If not that, I'd love to teach at the collegiate level. I enjoy elaborating and explaining subjects I'm passionate about.

While I am usually an exceptionally mellow and approachable person, I can be quite blunt with people when I'm pushed to be; I can only tolerate nonsense for so long. I tend to be very focused and seldom find myself scatterbrained. I like to focus on the task at hand and I like it when plans come together well. I'm a very open-minded person and I'm well informed about the things I believe.

In my free time, I'm constantly creating new things through my writing. I have ever changing microcosms and intertwined stories stored in my head and scribbled down in notebooks. I define myself as an atheist, though my personal beliefs are simply that: personal. So long as my toes aren't stepped on, I don't make it a point to step on anyone else's.
What I’m doing with my life
At present, I'm waiting for acceptance letters from graduate schools! Now that all of my applications have been squared away, I'm left with quite a bit of free time on my hands, most of which I spend working on my various writing projects.
I’m really good at
I've been told that I'm quite good at writing, though I tend to be my own worst critic. I'm also quite good at a small handful of video games, which, as mentioned earlier, are one of my favorite pastimes.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my facial hair. It's pretty bright and I tend it well.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend quite a bit of my time thinking about my writing projects, fleshing them out and figuring out how all the disparate plots and story arcs fit together in the grand scheme. I also think about the books I've read and music I've listened to and how they've influenced my work.
