My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Let's see, not sure how to describe myself exactly. I'm not normal, that's for sure. I write. I direct. Dark, mind-bendy fun kinda stuff. I travel back and forth between SC, ATL, and LA doing the struggling artist thing. Apparently, I keep the hours of a vampire, but have yet to burn or sparkle so that's a plus.

I work like all the time, but it's fun when you're creating. When I'm not working I like to have fun with new people and places, great friends and great conversations, significant others and all that goes with that.

I'm a crazy smart, ridiculously overeducated, laid back, down-to-earth, dreamer with a dark, twisted, little heart of gold, an easy laugh, a wicked sense of humor, a metal style, and an appreciation for the simple things in life. A no-drama chick who just wants to enjoy a life shared with great no-drama people.

Currently toying with an urge to run out into the night and film something, or just run out into the night...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Me, I build worlds... really weird worlds.

[Technically, I suppose I'm still a lawyer too, but I was young and naive when it happened and really think I should be forgiven.]
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Having fun, being spontaneous, laughing, listening, daydreaming, being a good friend (the core of any bond to me), helping, being adventurous, caring, and honest. Plotting to take over the world. Matching black clothes with silver jewelry. Sex. Oh, and trivia.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes, my laugh, my voice, my chest, probably not always in that order.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Music - hard rock mostly. Though I can have pretty eclectic tastes. (Love all things Gaelic/Celtic for some reason.) But, in general, I love to rock.

Shows - 31, The Walking Dead, American Horror Story, Sherlock, Game of Thrones, Dexter, True Blood, Supernatural, Misfits, Utopia (BBC), The Daily Show, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Monty Python, Brit Coms, stuff like that.

Movies - too many to count from nearly every genre except rom coms; classics to sci-fi to comic book heros, action/adventure to drama, foreign to independent, as long as it's well-written, well-shot, or there's something cool about it I'll give it a shot. Though I am rather drawn to the sci-fi type/superhero stuff- that's what you definitely want to see on the big screen. And of course horror.

Books - non-fiction mostly, quantum physics, metaphysics, astronomy, anthropology, archeology, history, psychology, neuroscience, etc. For a writer, the best fiction comes from fact and the universe is a fascinating place. For fiction, I like scifi, mystery, classics. Love Vonnegut, Stephen King, Asimov, etc., Checking out Kerouac's On The Road right now. I'll take recommendations. Read a lot of scripts of course. Poetry - Leaves of Grass is my fav, but I can like anything from classic romantic to modern foreign.

Food - anything but "southern" (Mom's is always better) or Indian (just can't stand even the smell of curry)

Sports - Duke basketball only

Travel - there's a whole world out there I'm dying to see (and film)!

Like my cars fast, my music loud, and my men smart & hot.
That is all.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family
Movies/books
A blank screen to write on
My sense of humor
Kisses
Mountain Dew (keeps me alive)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Chaos theory, meta-physics, AIs, the nature of the universe, existence, and sentience. Want to figure out how it all adds up to 42. Oh, and I'm a total film geek, obviously.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
If in, writing/reading/watching movies. If out, I like to try new places and things but also visit the comfortable and familiar. Movies, dancing, bars, bands, pool, darts, games, dinner, random misadventures. Especially if others make the plans, then I can just go with the flow and maybe get to try something I never would have thought of.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm Batgirl.
