Let's see, not sure how to describe myself exactly. I'm not normal, that's for sure. I write. I direct. Dark, mind-bendy fun kinda stuff. I travel back and forth between Atlanta, SC, and LA doing the crazed, struggling artist thing. I keep the hours of a vampire and party like a werewolf, though I no longer hang with either group socially (too much politics).

I work like all the time but it's fun work (I write & create for a living for god's sake) but when I'm not working I want to have serious fun, as in fun that isn't serious at all.

I'm a crazy smart, ridiculously overeducated, small-town dreamer with a heart of gold (the metal & the metaphor), the passion of a demon, an easy laugh, a metal style, and the eyes of a goddess. Yep, that's about right.

Currently toying with an urge to run out into the night and film something. Who am I kidding I just like running out into the night...

[Technically, I suppose I'm still a lawyer too, but I was young and naive when it happened and really think I should be forgiven.]

Having fun, being spontaneous, laughing, listening, daydreaming, being a good friend (the core of any bond to me), helping, being adventurous, caring, and honest. Plotting to take over the world. Matching black clothes with silver jewelry. Sex. Oh, and trivia.

My eyes, my laugh, my voice, my chest, probably not in that order.

Music - hard rock mostly. Though I can have pretty eclectic tastes. (Love all things Gaelic/Celtic for some reason.) But, in general, I love to rock.

Shows - 31, Dexter, The Walking Dead, American Horror Story, Sherlock, Game of Thrones, True Blood, Supernatural, Misfits, Bedlam, The Fades, The Daily Show, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Robot Chicken, Monty Python, Brit Coms, stuff like that.

Movies - too many to count from nearly every genre except rom coms; classics to sci-fi to comic book heros, action/adventure to drama, foreign to independent, as long as its well-written or there's something cool about it I'll give it a shot. Though I am rather drawn to the sci-fi type/superhero stuff- that's what you definitely want to see on the big screen. And of course horror.

Books - non-fiction mostly, quantum physics, metaphysics, astronomy, anthropology, archeology, history, psychology, neuroscience, etc. For a writer, the best fiction comes from fact and the universe is a fascinating place. For fiction, I like scifi, mystery, classics. Love Vonnegut, Stephen King, Asimov, etc., about to try R. R. Martin and Larsen. Love recommendations. Read a lot of scripts of course. Poetry - Leaves of Grass is my fav, but I can like anything from classic romantic to modern foreign.

Food - anything but "southern" (Mom's is always better) or Indian (just can't stand even the smell of curry)

Sports - Duke basketball only

Travel - there's a whole world out there I'm dying to see (and film) and god knows it's been too long!

Like my cars fast, my music loud, and my men smart & hot.

I promise you, you really don't even want to know how my mind works. It's a wild, exhausting place up there. But it's fun. Especially the dreams.

If in, writing/watching movies. If out, I like to try new places and things. Dancing, movies, bars, bands, pool, darts, games, beach, dinner, random misadventures. Especially if others make the plans, then I can just go with the flow and often get to try something I never would have thought of.
