I am random, bored a lot, and drinking coffee.

My Self-Summary

I never really know what to write in these kind of things, usually it ends up being rambles.. Here goes nothing..

My profile name comes from the works of Charles de Lint. In "Someplace to be Flying", there are two crow girls named Zia and Maida. I am not tricksy or as unaware of the world around me to be a true crow girl, so I'm crying. Plus, crows are wicked sweet.

I enjoy reading, playing D&D, watching movies and taking silly pictures. I also LARP and go to conventions and dress up there with several of my friends.

Ha, a sentence that doesn't start with "I"! I win! Oh damn... I fail!
I swing between being immature and grown up, it really depends on my mood at the time.

I never finish video games, so I'm working on completing Henry Hatsworth, even if it kills me. I've been playing it since August/September and am 56% into it. I need 3 more pieces of the golden suit.. but damn those hidden levels are hard!

What I’m doing with my life

I currently work at selling video games and am getting ready GTFO of Savannah and move to Atlanta with 5 of my friends, 3 of which are driving from California, and 1 of them I haven't even met. But if they're willing to drive cross country to hang out with me, that's pretty cool.

Once I am moved and settled in, perhaps by next spring, I hope to enroll in culinary school of some kind. Or just work a lot. It depends on if I feel lazy or motivated to enrich my life or not.

I’m really good at

I'm good at.. um.. cooking and being a nerd. I don't really know what I'm good at since I never really care about how good I am at something, I just try to do my best.

Oh, and I can usually get 95% on Rock Band when I sing. Just saying.

The first things people usually notice about me

Is my lack of height, or my balance problem.. I swear, I can fall over sitting down. Some people call it "endearing" I call it "annoying".

Unless you're a random person walking by, then it might be the weird thing that I'm saying. I rarely watch what I say when I'm with my friends.. which has led to some amusing conversations about not smelling pee (asparagus was the start of this conversation, and how tasty it is), the special Olympics and some of their events, or even just about how scary a new foe in Henry Hatsworth is.

Ask me about the scary scull-faced ballerina ninjas that flip around and kill you.. I made some funny sounds and sentences then.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Anything by Tamora Pierce, JK Rowling, LJ Smith, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Kim Harrison, JK Rowling, LKH, Jim Butcher, Patricia Briggs.. I read a lot of stupid fantasy stuff. Except Twilight. I fucking hate Twilight.

Movies: The Princess Bride, StarGate, Little Women, older Disney, Howls Moving Castle, Tristan and Isolde (horrible acting, beautiful to look at)

Music: The Beatles, Queen, Linkin Park, Evanescence, Porcupine Tree, Opeth, David Bowie, Leaves Eyes, The Empty Hats, Loreena McKennitt, Lacuna Coil, Blackmore's Night, The Cranberries

Food: Almost anything.. I don't eat fish, though.

The six things I could never do without

Coffee
my camera
a good book to read
a toothbrush
toothpaste
a comfortable bed.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

What I did wrong in life and how I can fix it for the future.

And what to do with myself, 'cause I'm bored a lot.

On a typical Friday night I am

Sitting home online/reading/whatever or with my friends.. depends on the week.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I can never make up my mind about anything.. seriously, I eenie meenie miney moe over what to do when I have more than 5 choices.

You should message me if

Despite all of that, you still think I'm interesting.

I'm not looking for a relationship right now, I'm looking for a friend. But, even friends sometimes turn into more. Friends first, then something else.

If that's too much to ask for, then I guess I'll never get messaged.
