I enjoy the outdoors and a quite a few things deemed "nerdy" by most but mainly just dabble in them rather than obsessing over things. I'd admit that I'm not your run of the mill average guy, which is good because I'd rather not be just another face in the crowd (or a bro...bleh). I'm a very humble person and am not afraid to openly admit that I'm flawed or not as good at something as a friend or acquaintance might be. I do things for the joy of doing them and am very non competitive. I am who I am, no one is good at everything.

Sophomore year of 4 year college at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, switching from having Geology as a major to my minor and then majoring in who knows what in the social sciences or maybe even something outdoorsy having to do with nature and the environment. I work oddjobs in between semesters to make money for personal expenditures

- Martial Arts (Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai Kick boxing, Gracie Jiu Jitsu ground grappling, Odenku Jitsu, Tae Soo Do) although I'm not entirely proficient in every one of them, just the first three
- Self defense thinking (sounds weird I know, hard to describe)
- Video games (no racing or tournament fighting sadly) and the spectrum of games I play ranges from "That's the cutest thing I've ever seen I might just die from cuteness overdose" (Ilo Milo/Little big Planet 1 and 2, Botanicula) all the way to "That's the scariest/goreiest/disturbing most horrifying game I've ever bore witness to" (Dead Space 1,2,3, Bioshock, etc)
- Being understanding, non judgmental, and all around nice to people because I find it hard to come up with a legitimate reason to be mean to people, I mean seriously... why even bother trying to ruin someones day when you can make it better, see, no reason, case closed
- Being fun, silly, random, nonsensical (I can come up with some of the most ridiculous and random stuff and I honestly don't know how my mind works the way it does), spontaneous, and childish (but not immature, I just haven't let the five year old inside me die off because it's too fun to not completely grow up. Because why? Simply because.

I'm an open book (with limits based on how long I've known the person and how open they are as a person as well). Very little weirds me out and the things that do I'm mostly acting weirded out because it's socially acceptable to respond in such a way. I try my best to be open minded and accepting of anyone and everyone regardless of their personal faults of flaws because no one is perfect, including me. I can be seemingly random and silly (not to be taken as immature because just believe me, I'm not) and love making other people laugh but make sure I'm not an obnoxious attention craver because actually I hate attention from a large group of people in a general sense, it's just the making people laugh part that I love. I'm my parents' freak child with the combined introversion of my mother with my father's gifted ability to "talk with anyone about anything at any time, immediately upon meeting them as if we'd been good friends in the past"

Video games - Please for my sake just look at my facebook profile, a small sampling for your enjoyment I guess would be Little Big Planet 1 and 2, Halo 3 and 4, Dead Space 1,2, and 3, Portal 1 and 2, Bioshock, Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2, Ratchet and Clank up your Arsenal and Deadlocked, Battlefield Games, and all the classic Legend of Zelda games from Ocarina of time and onward, Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 were fun, and Terraria was an addiction of mine for some time as well

Books - Not much of a reader when it comes to books (it needs to be a great book or subject material that interests me).

Movies.... one sec. I actually have a list of some of my favorites.... Drive, Hotel Transylvania, Warrior, Shutter island, Crazy Heart, American Psycho, The iron Giant, The book of Eli, Inception, Avatar, How to train your pet dragon, Braveheart, A Kight's Tale, The secret of NIMH, Treasure Planet, Cloudy with a chance of meatballs, Finding Nemo, Wall - E, Patch Adams, American Gangster, Watchmen, Munich, Tenacious D the pick of destiny, Scott Pilgrim vs The World, Aviator, Ninja Assasin, The Expendables 2 (best "guy" movie ever.... just saying).

Tv - not much of a TV person to be honest. I used to enjoy Discovery, History, and some of the Comedy Central channels and enjoy selective TV miniseries

Music - Current favorite artists: Tenacious D, Kavinsky, Justice, other indie/neo electronic. I love, literally love, peaceful music by such artists as David Arkenstone, Kitaro, Deep forest, Steve roach, Will Ackerman, Deuter, 2002, Secret Garden, Liquid Mind, Cavo, Hans zimmer, Delerium, Enigma, Ancient Circle, and I tend to dislike a lot of pop culture music, with a wide range of exceptions of course.

Food - Concerning food I like a lot I guess, not too picky.

Life (in a very ambiguous way) it's hard to describe. I guess I think about a lot of random things that people normally don't notice and or care to think about. I had a life altering near death experience when I was five years old so from then on I've looked at the world a bit differently, more cautiously I guess because I know just how fragile life is and how fast it can be swept away. It saddens me that I don't meet as many people with the same thinking style as myself but when I do we become friends very easily

Being random and nonsensical with close friends and having a great time, possibly playing Xbox 360 or PC video games socially, watching movies, and or playing Magic The Gathering. I never "party" or go to house parties because I'm very much so introverted around random masses of people so they are incredibly uncomfortable for me to go to

I'm a recovering chronic moderate depressive so I know what hell on earth can feel like. I was the kid on the outside looking in all throughout school continuing into my first year of college when I finally opened up and learned to be myself and be happy with it. I may seem cheery and outgoing most of the time but i'll always have my quiet side to me

You'd rather talk to and get to know a closet nerd of a guy who is a real person and not some shallow bro (I hate bros... a lot). I'm open to making friends and would rather not rush into another heavily committed relationship without fulling knowing the person beforehand and regardless just want to find people who are fun to talk to and share common interests. And just an fyi, it's not that I don't care to be affectionate/intimate, it's just that I'm only willing to go that far if I have legitimate feelings for someone. And just so you know, if I message you first it's because I legitimately think it would be fun to talk, so ignoring me/blowing me off completely is a bit harsher in my mind than a polite decline to conversing further.
