My Self-Summary
I'm an aspiring Psychiatrist, though I'm interested in Journalism. I'm was a Psychology major at RCC-Moreno Valley. Right now I'm taking a break. I'm at a point in my life where I'm ready to take charge and initiate action. I've set my goals and I'm ready to do whatever it takes to reach them, so I'll be back RCC!
I love to socialize and try new things. I'm an extrovert so I thrive on social interaction. I spend slot of time on Facebook. Sometimes people consider me to be like "one of the guys", and that's cool. If you like the idea of being in the perma-friend zone, and I don't. I really want to find someone that appreciate me romantically and as a friend too. If you want to know more, feel free to ask.
I'm the kind of girl that recognizes my self worth. If you can't take the time to write me a decent message, I won't respond. I'm not a bitch, I just know what I want. A guy who doesn't even find me important enough to use proper grammar and punctuation in a message is not what I want. It also shows intelligence, and education is something that I value a lot.
Some people say that I'm a pessimist, but I think that I'm a realist.
I just adopted a Yorkie from the pound, or at least that's what they call him. It's obvious that he's a silky terrier, but I won't argue with the doc. He means everything to me. He's my little man. We're best friends. =]
I used to write poetry. I don't really write as much as I used to. I mostly wrote out of anger and depression. I'm not as depressed as I used to be, so I don't write as often. Writing is so therapeutic for me. I should really do it more often.
I have a really awkward sense of humor. I joke about things that I probably shouldn't. I just find that the funniest shit is the stuff that no one else will laugh about. It's like uncharted territory. I mean come on, you can't take life too seriously all of the time. Its just depressing.
I'm very blunt too. My thought filter must be broken because I just love to say exactly what on my mind as soon as it hits. I'm not incredibly overbearing or anything. I can read people and tell whether or not it makes people uncomfortable, and if it does I do it even more because its hilarious to see people's reactions. I'm only half serious. I don't do that to people that I like.
I'm very opinionated, but I'm not one of those people who are like, "If you don't believe what I believe you're a dumb ass!" I'm not like that at all. I love to discuss and debate, and I'm open to be proven wrong. I debate to learn from people. I know that I don't know everything.
I love to learn from people and observe behavior. I guess that's the psychologist in me, and a little bit of my Nana too. My Nana is my Grandmother, and yes, she is very nosy. I love her though. Anyways, I love to learn from people. That's probably why I tend to date older guys.
I hate being "the man" in relationships. I like to wear pants, but not in my relationships. I know that sounds weird. Don't get me wrong, I'm a very independent woman, but I don't feel like being anyones mother. If I did, I'd get knocked up and pop out some bastards of my own. That way I could at least get some financial aid... That's my awkward humor in case you haven't noticed.
A thousand words.... That's a lot of words. What is this, high school?? You're killing me...
What I’m doing with my life
I’m really good at
The first things people usually notice about me
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Movies: I usually like any kind of comedy, or anything that my friends and I can watch and make fun of which is pretty much anything. But some of my favs that stand out are: The Breakfast Club, Pretty In Pink, Pretty Woman, Eat Your Heart Out, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Accepted, The Notebook, The Wedding Singer, Rose Red, Saved, Waiting, I am Legend...
Books: Hmm...
Food: I like authentic Chinese food. Orange chicken is good, but Moo Shu Chicken is sooo much better. I just got into Lebanese food. Good stuff. I have an addiction to P'zones. I'm getting over it though. Ramen... Lol.
