My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
"...stranded alien of salient mindset, linguistic deviant, entropic witness, travelogue digestif, gastronomic anthropologist, part time ninja with a half-bag of tricks, unhinged idiot, starvation artistic, stark raving writing desk, crow blessed misfit..."

I am better at answering questions about myself than at devising some summation of my personality and experiences... I'll work on that.

I'm polyamorous and in a stable relationship with not-all-cybermen, sorry if that's a problem.

I am still working through all of my feelings regarding my gender identity but would like to state: I do not identify as male and would appreciate she/they pronouns when being addressed/referenced. That said, due to okc's limited options, I still have my profile set to come up in searches for men as I suppose most others would consider me male presenting.

Also, I am mildly wary of cis-males. If you understand why without needing an explanation, we'll probably get along.

Random Fun Facts:

I like manipulating words and language; sometimes my sentence structuring and obtuse vocabulary goes horribly awry.

I spent a year traveling around the country and living in a van... given the opportunity (gas money and companionship) I'd do it again.

I make a mean kimchi.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
enjoying what I can; art, music, poetry; doing my best to understand humans; smashing the patriarchy; avoiding capture
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
poetry, cooking, playing with words, being awkward, applying perspective, remembering useless things, making eye contact, proper argumentation, reason/critical thinking.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably my hair... then maybe my eyes or that I'm quiet or something else entirely that I don't really know about since it's other people doing the noticing and not me and most people don't say anything about whatever it is they notice or even if they happen to notice anything at all so I don't know.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Invisible Cities; Poetry as an Insurgent Art; To the Lighthouse; Portrait of an Artist as a Young Man; Delta of Venus, Little Birds; The House on Mango Street; Lolita; Animal Farm; 1984, Bug Jack Barron; Russian Spring; Sometimes a Great Notion; Alice's Adventures in Wonderland; The Woman Warrior; Dear Darkness; A Spy in the House of Love; if on a winter's night a traveler; One Hundred Years of Solitude; Catch-22; Lord of the Flies; house of incest; The Last Temptation of Christ; The Plague; Eyeless in Gaza; Island; After Many A Summer Dies the Swan; One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest; Cryptonomicon; Oxford English Dictionary.

I like books, generally classic literature and contemporary fiction but I'm pretty down with the whole reading thing; I haven't had TV for years, so what little television I watch is DVD or online; I'm worse with movies; my musical tastes are eclectic/open; picking a favorite food is impossible.

I'd be more specific if it didn't seem so daunting... sometime later I'll get all list-y with this.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
writing materials; contact with other people; sex; art; rain; humor;
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Llamas, aesthetics, food, how my friends are doing, quantum theory, writing, sex, what I was supposed to be doing but forgot, people's motivations for doing things, whatever happens to be interesting to me at the time, shiny things, where I put my keys.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably being more boring than I'd really like to be, though changing this is a high priority for me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Anymore, I have more imaginary conversations than I do real ones.
