My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I recently graduated from MIT in Cambridge (I was there for undergraduate and then a master's), and now I'm in medical school at Northwestern. I know what you're thinking...but I totally don't have a nerd crush for Janeway on Star Trek: Voyager or the Charmed sisters. Okay, I actually do.

My friends would never guess (lies, they totally have), but science isn't the end-all be-all for me. There's a lot more to life than just your work/future career. Really, I only say that because my true dream of being a K-Pop star didn't work out like I'd planned - for various reasons that I'd rather not mention here.

I've been playing sports since I was young, both soccer and track, and I started dance in college. I'd avoided it because I didn't want to be a stereotype, but then I saw the mesh shirts we'd be wearing for one of our dances - I haven't looked back since. But, honestly, I'm always up for trying something new and broadening my horizons.

I'm laid-back and like walking along the beach at night with friends or partying, but I have a secret. Every arch I see is a gateway to another world. The Chicago skyline is actually all made entirely of diamonds, and people wear outfits made of fire (that don't burn, because that'd be awkward) or have watches that transform into mechanical serpents or shirts made of ice. No, I'm not crazy, I just write fantasy books - worried you there, didn't I? The reason I write and see the world like that is because each day needs a touch of magic.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I recently graduated from MIT in BioEng and I just started medical school. It's been a lot of fun meeting new people and making new friends.

To be a bit more serious, I'm someone who continually thinks about how to make the world a better place than when I first arrived. Something that's become important to me over the years has been being warm to everyone (okay, I'll admit I can be a tiny bit sassy sometimes) and uniting diverse groups, because we're only going to make things better if we work together and find a way to truly understand each other. At my core, I want people to know they have someone to come to that they can always talk to, someone that will foster their ideas and dreams.

I'm super idealistic, I know - but we should have lofty goals for ourselves and others...why not shoot for the best at all times?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Filling out this section is not going on my list of things I'm good at, that's for sure.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like being outgoing and making others feel at ease in any situation. Or my long eyelashes.

Books: I'm into anything fantasy, but other genres are great as well. Right now I'm reading Throne of Glass. Favorites would be Elantris, The Wheel of Time Series, Sabriel/Abhorsen Trilogy, Warbreaker, The Sword of Truth Series, The Eyre Affair, Ender's Game, The Infernal Devices Trilogy, etc.

Music: Little Mix, Blake Lewis, Katy Perry, Zedd, Deadmau5, Kat Graham, Selena Gomez, Alexandra Burke, Wicked (musicals in general), Justin Timberlake, Maroon 5, Sam Sparro, Disney, Lady Antebellum, anything with a good beat that isn't rap honestly.

TV Shows: Charmed, Pushing Daisies, Happy Endings, Castle, Leverage, Star Trek, The Vampire Diaries, The Big Bang Theory, Once Upon a Time, Dream High, Will and Grace, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, and a few others.

Movies: The Mummy (1 and 2, because 3 was terrible), Inception, Rush Hour, Mission: Impossible, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, Moulin Rouge, LOTR, Minority Report, Star Wars, Star Trek, Black Swan.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Family and friends are really important to me, because they made me realize that a person should be content with who they are but continually think about how they can do better.
2. The fantasy series I am currently writing
3. Music and my laptop
4. My SAE brothers - not being super fratty, but there's a reason why SAE is an enormous facet in my life.
5. Research - I can't escape my nerdy roots.
6. Pizza...I wanted to put this at number one, but I thought that'd just be rude.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Writing, hanging out with friends, medicine and such.

Why have I not been in a Kpop video? - It's sad how much that question actually is on my mind.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Going out to a movie or dinner with friends, or off to a party somewhere. As I've gotten older, partying at times is fun, but those small moments (dinners and such) are the things you really remember. If it's been a long week, then we're all staying in and playing games or just hanging out. I really do love those long walks along the beach with the stars out and the full moon holding all the wishes of the world ;)

Maybe passed out because it's been a long week. It depends.

You want to chat and see where things go. Or if you sometimes pull a Disney/Enchanted and want to start singing to birds like they're your best friends - I'm 99.9% kidding about that part.
