My self-summary
I'm from Chicago originally. I moved to Las Vegas after spending some time in San Diego, Los Angeles, Portland, and Phoenix. I love to travel, read, laugh, listen to music, play guitar, and try new things. I'm very laid back, honest, open, and intellectual.
What I’m doing with my life
Finding happiness. It's all about perspective.

"When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life." -John Lennon

Buying a stairway to heaven.
I’m really good at
Tennis, karaoke, and going with the flow.

And making breakfast. Mmmmm... Bacon.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes. They are really blue.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
BOOKS - Most anything Vonnegut, Steinbeck, Dickens, or Twain. Stephen King, Oscar Wilde, A Song of Ice and Fire series. I guess I'm more into classics, but I'll read anything once.

MOVIES - The Shawshank Redemption is my all-time favorite. Also, comedies, action flicks, a horror movie from time to time, dramas, and independent films. I'm a big Pixar fan too.

SHOWS - Not much of a TV watcher, but when I do... South Park, Family Guy, Tosh.0, Archer, SNL.

MUSIC - Zeppelin, Dylan, Hendrix, Sublime, RHCP, Counting Crows, Metallica, Journey, Sinatra, Beatles, Garth Brooks... Almost ANYTHING. If it's good, I'll listen to it.

FOOD - Indian, Mexican, Spanish, Thai, Chinese. I love spicy foods.
The six things I could never do without
My family, music, books, sleep (I really enjoy it), food, and good company.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why we drive on parkways and park on driveways.

Who REALLY let the dogs out?

The smell of hospitals, and winter, and the feeling that it's all a lot of oysters, but no pearls.
On a typical Friday night I am
Possibly working (a downside to hospitality), or drinking a craft beer, singing karaoke, or having a relaxing evening in.

  • Near me
  • Who are single

You should message me if
You think South Park is crude, immature, and a spot-on brilliant social commentary. You like Louis CK. Or you are appreciative of the little things in life, like a cup of coffee or clean sheets.

Also, if you're willing to meet up at some point. Not interested in pen pals.
