I have been single for 2-1/2 years after 18 years of marriage. I am
interested in meeting women for dating, for a serious relationship,
and for friendship.
I enjoy cooking for others (cooking just for me is not much fun at all) and entertaining. I like to visit wineries, and enjoy the challenge of identifying inexpensive but excellent wine. I am definitely a true romantic. I enjoy photography, particularly of flowers, bridges, and children. I would enjoy travel much more if I had someone special to share the adventures.
While I tend to be shy, I can comfortably, easily, and naturally speak in front of large groups. I like to learn, and to share that information. Together we will experience the highs and lows of life. Together we will be greater than the sum of our separate parts.

I enjoy my job, and I enjoy my life. I am determined to find
happiness, and I
look upon each day as an opportunity to do exactly that. Even a
"down day" has elements of satisfaction and happiness.
I have traveled to many places for work over the past 24 years as a result of working for a large multi-national company. In Europe, I have been to France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Great Britain, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland. In the past 3 years, I have been to China, Japan, Singapore, and Malaysia multiple times, and went to Brazil for the first time last November. I've also been to Canada multiple times, to some Caribbean islands (pleasure, not work), Mexico, and Australia. I was hired for what I was assured would be a "no travel component job." LOL

I am a good photographer. I am good at almost any type of home repair which does not require climbing (I have acrophobia) - including plumbing, electrical wiring, carpentry, and more. And if you happen to have an old-fashioned oven (not self-cleaning, not continuously cleaning), I will gladly arrive with Easy-Off in hand and I will get to work!
